***Official New York Jets at Dallas Cowboys Thread***

Quote:I am sure you know what I mean Scarecrow. What is their problem that prevented them from keeping Dallas out of the end zone after sacking Matt Cassel for 19 yards? They were totally unprepared to face an un-drafted QB from Boise State named Kellen Moore.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:They were totally unprepared to face an undrafted QB from Boise State named Kellen Moore. It has nothing to do with being undrafted. Tony Romo was not drafted either. What does make a difference is facing a left-handed quarterback.
Jets D is soft
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
Quote:Jets D is soft That is unusual. They seemed to have one of the better defenses this season. Quote:Moore acted like he wasn't a 3rd stringer there. Amazing for a guy who was on the practice squad several weeks ago. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I went to NFL.com and read about how Matt Cassel got benched. Obviously people don't want to tell me the whole story. I was correct when I said quarterbacks don't get benched for one big sack.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...llen-moore So would you mind telling me why you thought just the 18 (not 19) yard sack got Cassel benched? Quote:I went to NFL.com and read about how Matt Cassel got benched. Obviously people don't want to tell me the whole story. I was correct when I said quarterbacks don't get benched for one big sack. I'm guessing here but I'd think C'MON JAGS was meaning that sack would be enough to bench CASSEL when you combine it with his poor QB play. I doubt he'd bench someone like Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady for a play like that. Why do people have to tell you the whole story? We are not your story tellers, are we? You can watch and read the same as we can.
Quote:Yes way, he got sacked for a rare and ridiculous 19 yard loss.Channeling his inner "tebow"!

Wonderful, the Cowboys lost. Final score 19-16. Next week they will start playing for a top 5 draft pick.

Quote:That's not wonderful. We wanted them to win for draft position. Except I absolutely hate the Cowboys and can never root for them. Fortunately there are some other teams who can help us with that by winning today.
Quote:I went to NFL.com and read about how Matt Cassel got benched. Obviously people don't want to tell me the whole story. I was correct when I said quarterbacks don't get benched for one big sack. Well, I knew if I told you it was for the intentional grounding sack, the 18/19 yd sack(they called it 19 on the telecast or TV) and poor play, that you would have no idea what an "intentional grounding interception" was and you would be asking what that was, so I just told you it was mainly for the big sack, obviously taking a chance that you already knew what that was. I also knew that if I quoted what Don "Wink" Martindale said about Cassell, that Cassell "couldn't hit Black Beauty in a field of white mice", that you would not understand that analogy either, and have to ask questions about what it meant, so I didn't mention that one either. It was really kind of obvious that he was benched for poor play and the big sack was the straw that broke the finally enough for Garrett to bench Cassell.
