The clots' forum is great reading tonight.

Quote:Crap. I got so disgusted with their play that I let the girls talk me into going shopping. I was keeping up with occasional glances on my phone and couldn't believe what I was seeing. I didn't record it either, dang it. Stoopid Jaguars! You know what this means. You have to go shopping during the next game, too, and as long as we win. And you can't record it, either. I just got home. I'm exhausted from so much cheering. I have not trained for this much scoring

Quote:Colts fans are in meltdown mode...as is their team. I've said it over and over but I hope Irsay sticks with Grigson for years to come.

It's Week 15. Myers isn't going anywhere. The missed PATs are frustrating, but he bounced back. Which, I think is why he's still here. I think the coaches and the GM really like his attitude. A lot of fans dislike when they see players smiling after they mess up. Well, Myers was far from that. He was visibly upset at himself as he slammed his helmet after the miss.
Not saying he's lock for a job next season. But my feeling is they let him play out, and then bring him back along with competition next season. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Myers is an odd thing... To nail big booming FGs and then hit knuckle balls for the extra points. I think they are in his head.

Death of the Franchise - November 29, 2011 Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.
Not gonna lie, my crew was so ready to leave after the missed snap touchdown by the clots. AND THEN...Branch single handedly (sp?) turned the game around. I can not remember the last time we fans enjoyed such a lopsided victory at home. I have no idea what was said in the locker room at half time but for the love of humanity I hope someone recorded so it can be replayed again, and again, and again, and again

About the missed extra point by Meyers, they did not show it on the score boards at the game. I looked to me like the flag that shows the wind direction had something to do with the miss. Can someone clue me in on what happened please.

I don't think any of us truly appreciate how long it's been since we've won like this. 51 points against a division rival at home in a meaningful December game? We're headed for some special years, and this is only the beginning. I truly believe this team has what it takes to be a perennial playoff contender starting next year.

The ball hit the flag, but the flag was blowing to the outside. Taking a stab here, and obviously not knowing what's wrong with him...he's kicking/trying too hard on the PATs. Given his leg, he should just kick naturally. He's got plenty of leg for a PAT. I'd say this fanbase really does swing like a pendulum Quote:Ooooo!http://forums.colts.com/topic/42853-jags...on-merged/ Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Also...big props to Denard for stepping up. I think he is more decisive and has a better 2nd gear than Yeldon, which made a difference in the 2nd half. Still makes me nervous everytime he touches the ball

From my angle it looked like the flag affected the ball. As for his PAT kicks, it is all in his head. I mean right after the miss he literally put the ball through the uprights on the kickoff. You may be right, he may be kicking too hard for them. I have a gut feeling he fixes this issue in the off season and wins the job again next year.

I mean right after the miss he literally put the ball through the uprights on the kicko Yeah, I agree. It's crazy to think about but the guy has a good leg and makes FGs. There's an obvious mental block he's struggling with in regards to PATs. Kudos to Bullseye for a great write up. I'd also mention #41 Nick Marshal, he got the start over Gratz (was he injured or something) and McCray (crack dealer or something) and looked really shakey in the first quarter. He came back and had a heck of a game. Also, the fumble return for a TD right before the end of the 1st half cannot be discussed enough. Honestly, I think that really turned the game around. Branch switched momentum big time with his hustle play. Lastly, I'd be remiss not to say that I think Gus coached a great 2nd half and that should be noted as well. Quote:Myers is an odd thing... To nail big booming FGs and then hit knuckle balls for the extra points. I think they are in his head. Agreed... it's completely a head game at this point. It's like a 2nd basemen who can make the diving stab and wing it over to first no problem, but if it's a routine grounder where he has time to think about it, he can't make the easy throw. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters.
