HC? I agree. Maybe a different one could scheme our defense to be AVERAGE. An average defense has this team cruising to the playoffs.

Losing out will give us the chance to land Hargreaves or Ramsey, possibly some pass rushers and a kicker. Dave needs to rebuild this defense with Telvin, Odrick, House, and keep Colvin and Ryan Davis for depth. Go all out in FA and the draft to build a mean defense that can win some games for the team on their own.

 

 

Meh...  the cheaters of the NFL are successfull with Danny Amendola and Edlemen along with a very mediocre D that has no real all star player.  It appears to many folks that leadership may actually be something that is important.

 

Also, it would be nice if our defense was taught how to tackle.  Oh and the whole zone defensive scheme which tries copy the Seahawks is killing us.  But, what do I know?

Hightower, Butler, Collins, McCourty, and Mayo are mediocre? That's way better than what we have. All we have is Telvin, and they have possibly THREE Pro-Bowlers on that defense.

 

Patriots cheat,  and they have the best QB in NFL history, One of the best coaches in history, unstoppable Gronk, and Edelman is a very good receiver (just like Welker was). 

 

We run the Seahawks defense, but don't have the personnel to execute it the way they do. We don't have Kam Chancellor, Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, Bruce Irvin, Bobby Wagner, Brian Maxwell, Michael Bennett, Brandon Browner, or 2013 Clemons. That's why we suck on defense.
