Let's look at a few positives

Quote:Did you know that QB Philip Rivers leads the league with pass attempts and passes completed and 2nd only to Tom Brady in passing yards this season?  The Jaguars struggle the most against the pass so even though the Chargers lost six games in a row it shouldnt be such a shock that they lost this week.

It honestly wasn't to me. I've seen Rivers plenty this year and knew how good he's been passing. Couple that with how terrible the Jags are at defending the pass, the game pretty much played out the way I thought it would.

Some more stats:

Chargers were 2-8 and had lost 6 in a row

Chargers were decimated with injuries......Jags were relatively healthy

Chargers can't run the ball........Jags have a stout run defense

Chargers got blown out by K.C. Last week, then they had to travel 3000 miles to Jax to play a game.

Chargers were single-dimensional......only had a passing game.

Chargers had no post season hopes........Jags were " in the running "

Chargers scored touchdowns in the red zone........Jags kicked field goals.

Jags scored 25 points......Chargers scored 31.

Missjag, I wasn't implying that he wasn't hurt, but that not as bad as it looked. He was taken off on a stretcher as a precaution, he has already twitted that is he hoing to be alright and it was only a concussion.

Those guys know people fear the worst when they see a stretcher on the field. It is easy to see why they took so much precaution with him. But the word "only" can be deleted when they say he will miss the next two or three games.

Teams battling for playoffs that won yesterday

Raiders beat 2-9 Titans

Chiefs beat 5-6 Bills

Bears (Thursday) beat 7-4 Packers

Skins beat 5-6 Giants

Texans beat 4-7 Saints

Colts beat 5-6 Bucs

Jets beat 4-7 Fins

Jags couldn't even beat the 2-8 Chargers at home...... Way to have the guys prepared Gus.
