After this game against San Diego

Pass rush.

Fowler and another pass rusher = everything on defense falls into place.  I think the DBs are good enough if there is any push whatsoever.  I mean, if we could just get a sack or two a game and a few pressures those DBs will look a lot better.

Easily. Obviously it depends on the level of talent of the players, but if they're all equal I'd probably take two pass rushers before I grabbed a DB unless it was Jalen Ramsey.

I wish Joey Bosa could fall to us. Put him and Dante Fowler together and our defensive line would be nearly unstoppable. But knowing that probably won't happen, I would put a defensive back on the top of my board.

Front Seven talent and a Defensive Coordinator / system.

The LEO spot needs to be restocked because I feel like Clemons is pretty much non-effective at this point. Branch is what he is and while he may get a bit better, he's not a long-term answer in my opinion. This team needs a pass rusher and it's not fair to expect Fowler to fix it all by himself; he's going to need a teammate to help him out there.

I feel comfortable with the DT spot being manned by Marks, Miller, Alualu and Jones but none of them are exactly young. While I don't think they need to be replaced, they do need to have their replacement undergoing development.

Telvin needs a Partner in Crime in the LB corps. I think Poz is doing a fine job so far, but I'd like to see some talent added there as well.

As for the Defensive Coordinator / plan, I don't normally speak up on this kind of thing because I've always felt that every defensive system works if you run it right. It just seems like this one isn't being run right and I'd like to have someone on the Staff that can put together a Defensive plan that would allow them to take away the middle of the field every once in a while.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
