Allen Hurns

(This post was last modified: 11-29-2015, 06:42 PM by Mowerguy.)

My heart stopped when I looked out there and saw him face down on the field.

I just hope Hurns gets fully healed and just stays off the field...nothing to gain now...maybe next year we'll have a better coach and staff to better use players like the Allens, Greene and the group that we have started. No point in them getting hurt this season.

Here's to a good draft, dumping these inept coaches and getting BB5 out of the freakin' picks.

Why does anybody still think we will get a new coaching staff next year? Shad Khan has always said Gus Bradley has zero chance of getting fired. Many threads about this issue already exist so nobody should be mentioning it in threads about anything else.

There is no reason to keep Allen Hurns on the sideline when he is physically able to play and cleared by doctors. Anyone who thinks this is a wasted season has not watched us play.

IR him until next year.

That is why I don't understand it. Men know enough to care about injured players and not try to be funny about bad stuff like concussions.

None of those hashtags mean anything. Give me a real reason in plain English.

Then there is no reason except total stupidity.

I can't help but agree, but if you work on the quality of your comments you can rise above the "stupid" label. Keep at it!

I hope he gets better.  I think he will be placed on I.R and hope he is good to go next year.

We still have five games left. That is enough for Allen Hurns to come back for the Saints or Texans. Of course I expect him to miss the Titans game and probably the Colts too.

I sure have watched us play.....up close from the SEZ. I SAW us go to the redzone 3 times and come away with only FG's, I SAW rivers make really nice tosses to wide open receivers. I SAW our D get schooled by an older QB who ran for a first down when it counted....if you can call it running.

We just lost to the worst defense in the AFC, what makes you think we'll do any better until some serious changes are made?

We're unprepared, out coached and lucky to have even won the games we have won.

Absolutely no point in getting Hurns hurt again when we need him next year,

It wouldn't surprise me if they do. They way they took every precaution to brace his neck and seeing how his legs were not moving as he was carted off, I was scared he might have had a spinal or neck injury. He really slammed his head hard on the turf. When they said it was a concussion I felt a sigh of relief, but a serious concussion could take a few weeks to overcome.

It was recently determined that Frank Gifford suffered from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy from having banged his head too much while playing football, and this is an increasing fear for all football players. When you see something like this you have wonder just how much of an effect on the brain these hits have.

He's been released from the hospital. I'm sure he'll go in the concussion protocol.

Hope he mends soon.

That's good news. It was really scary when I saw the stretcher and replays.

Because the current staff isn't good.

Next question.

So what? If Shad Khan says Gus Bradley will not be fired, the topic should be dead.

The topic isn't a living thing. It cannot die.

My point is still valid.

Have you ever heard of the Dreaded Vote of Confidence? Maybe you should try to look it up on teh Goggles.
