A change in fortune

Quote:My idea of Chile and most people's idea of Chile is different.  I love a bit of red Chile on pasta whether it's spaghetti or lasagna.  It's also good on pizza and with fried eggs.

Your idea of chili is eating a South American country. On pasta or not, the whole idea is ridiculous.

Skyline is a beanless chili.  More of a meat sauce than a chili, per se.

Which, being mostly meat, makes it as much a sauce fit for spaghetti as spaghetti sauce itself.

What makes Skyline stand out is that it's spiced Greek style with a secret formula (which includes cinnamon - most think,) and also has some sweetness to it (again, most believe cocoa or chocolate.)

It makes a fantastic base for a tailgating dip, too.  I'm excited to get the real thing, rather than someone's try at a copycat version.

A few days ago we got 8 inches of snow, some places over a foot. Then it's supposed to be almost 60 and raining by Thursday.

I have no love for cold or snow.
I was trying to be positive since it was such good news. Just go with it. That's all you can do.

My step-sister lived 40 years no farther north than Columbia, SC. She got married and is now spending her 2nd winter in Dublin, OH. Talk about a shock!

Congrats on the new job!  I know it can be rough losing your job, I lost mine earlier this year when the place I worked went out of business.  Recently got an offer for a job myself, though it doesn't start until January.  Best of luck with it.

You as well.  I truly believe these things happen to give us an opportunity for something better.

As for the snow to those commenting on it...

I was born and raised in VA, so I'm no stranger to it.  On top of that, I worked in an industry that didn't slow down for snow, so I'm very experienced getting around in it.  Kids are completely jacked about getting out in it.  And I'm completely nervous about teaching my Jax born and raised wife how to handle driving in it.
