In terms of overall talent, are the Jaguars good enough to beat a team like Seattle?

There are ways to get around that, but the deficiency prevents it.

We've barely scrapped together the wins we have, teams like Seattle may not seem great so far, but they're still another level above us.

Skill position wise we'd do okay.

Trenches?

No.

I don't think we could block them offensively or get off their blocks defensively.

This. We get the trenches right than watch out NFL, Jags would be one of the top teams.

Seattle loss to the Rams. I would say we are pretty close to the Rams level of talent.

Well now that you've cited a trite quote, you've totally turned my thinking around on this.

It would be a New England type score. 41-0 type deal. We are talented in some spots but if we were in any other division we are 1-9 at the moment.

3 of the teams we beat are not in our division

This is very true. We would also be playing different teams too  :teehee: . Even with the schedule now our swing w/l is 0-10 and could be 8-2 honestly. We haven't had that dominant performance, nor has anyone else outside of NE and maybe TB with Martin going off like he did. My main point still stands. We would get crushed by that team.

You're underestimating jags quite a bit. We almost beat the undefeated Panthers, every game we lost came down to the final play bar the Patriots. In all honesty I think the Patriots are the only team I'd put in the unwinnable category at this point. And that's just because of coaching.

Our offense will keep up with any other team.

Defense will struggle.

Add in a turn over. And who knows.

The Seahawks will not be in the Super Bowl this year.

Being young and their lack of experience??? Just not being ready to compete with last years super bowl contender just yet? Needing a couple of more pieces on defense and a better offense line?

Im all for optimism, i think were headed in the right direction. That being said it took a facemask and a 63 yard punt return for us to beat two teams with a combined 4 wins.

We are also a play away from having a few more wins.

One play often determines the outcome in the NFL.

They don't call it a game of inches for nothing.

Sorry but no they don't.

We might not even be as talented as the Chargers.
