Whats up with Julius Thomas?

#21

On that play
Quote:Rich Gannon was not happy with Thomas' effort. I would need to see that play again before making a judgement.

I did wonder to myself when he sat down on the bench after that play, "what is his problem?"

It is odd that we are still throwing to Nic Jacobs when JT is here. Is he tired? Dude needs to step up and get on the same page. What has he been doing all season? He doesn't know the plays?
When he got on the bench Julius was saying "its tight" and pointing to his thigh/hamstring

Doesn't seem like they're on the same page yet.  It looks like he's not finishing his routes where Blake expects him to be.  Don't know if its JT or Blake but the timing between the two is definitely off.  Somewhat expected considering he missed the whole preseason and the first 5 games.

This.

We've seen flashes of what we should hope to expect, but the timing and chemistry isn't quite there yet. I don't think Thomas is quite at 100% yet, but he's getting better. Given time they'll get in sync.

He had a really good catch negated by a penalty, that catch was all pro and all effort. Worth every dime..

Quote:I think it is safe to say Manning is on an undefeated team.
I think their #1 defense has alot to do with it and for the first time in Manning's career they're winning despite of him.

Quote:I don't think Bortles looked his way much besides that one play that got called back. Marcedes surprising got more looks.
I saw Mercedes Lewis CATCH A PASS today! Now that was special.

Funny stuff, he did have a nice juggle catch that was called back due to the holding penalty....

He needs to get healthy with finger issuse.. maybe after the bye week he'll be better... need to use him and lewis more on the field both at the same time running routes to make it harder for the matchup.. in a quick hurry up play mode..

I didnt' like the fact he called himself out of the game on a crucial third down on that last drive.

Looked like he told the trainers when he sat down after the play that "it got tight" trying to read his lips.

I hate saying that I agree with you...it almost disgusts me.

But I was saying the same thing to my wife yesterday.  Screw the 'soft' label.  He looks like he's half-assing every play.
