How serious is Marqise's hamstring injury?

Quote:Fred Taylor credited his decrease in injuries to a better diet and taking better care of himself. I thought it was because he started splitting time with MJD. Reducing time of the field certainly helped. For that reason I am a big fan of running back committees. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Significant injury but let him tell it he could've came back in the game he got hurt in. I'm telling you this guy loves the lifestyle and couldn't give a damn about playing.
So? If he was playing the next few games, we win?
IR him if the team loses in London. But right now? It's as important to me as the temperature tomorrow being 75 degrees vs 73. This missing lynx won't make a difference this year, IMO.

Quote:Or maybe it's a significant enough injury that it's keeping him off the field? If that's the case why not IR him with a designation for return?

MJD was helping with the load when Fred was in his 30s. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Alshon has missed fout games i believe.
My guess is it is pretty bad. He played a lot last yr so i dont think he doesnt want to be put there. If it's a bad hammy then there is not mich he can do besides let it heal.
Quote:I see guys (Odell Beckham, Rueben Randle, James Jones, Alshon Jeffery, LeSean McCoy) playing with hamstring injuries every week, what is going on with Marqise Lee? Is he soft or is the Jags medical staff being too cautious? It's an incredibly weird situation. Agreed!
Hamstrings aren't week to week injuries. It can take quite a while to heal.
The hamstring injury is frustrating, but to say that he isn't that good is insane. I firmly believe that if Lee could stay healthy we would have the best passing offense in the league. Robinsonn Hurns, Lee and Thomas..come on. The season is sunk already so don't look for the team to rush him back. Once again, I think we are looking towards next year. But on yhe positive side..we are set at WR QB and Rb for now.

There's a good chance he'll get it figured out and we would regret it when he does well for another team
Well as it is, he isn't helping the team at all but just taking up a roster spot. If his injury is that bad, or until he gets it 'figured out' (what the heck that means, I don't know) then put him on IR. He's no loss this season the way he is.
Hamstrings are a touchy injury. You want to have them take reps and play, but you can't push them too hard because they might blow the hamstring altogether and you're then looking at a lot of time lost rehabbing the injury. I think he is feeling tweeks when he runs, and as a result, they are waiting for it to heal some more to avoid a bigger injury.
Quote:How does one figure out to stop being injury prone? Quote:Fred Taylor credited his decrease in injuries to a better diet and taking better care of himself.Also... I heard a lot of guys talk about these runners/edge rushers that work out incorrectly. Becoming quad dominant. Which puts extra stress on areas they don't work out. He should and get it over with and blow the hammy, rehab and come back next year, because either way he's not on the field.
Oh yea lets cut a talented guy because he has a hamstring injury, how is he wasting a roaster spot? We have 7 inactives every game, he will prob be back after the bye week
