Is Yeldon better than Robinson?

He isn't better rushing much better.

Again, I am pretty sure you don't watch the games.

There are many problems with this team, Yeldon is not one of them.

I think at this point Yeldon is ahead of Denard, but not as much as people believe. Denard has home-run ability and is a better pass catcher. Yeldon is stonger, quicker laterally, and has better instincts. Different guys that compliment each other very well.

What's so wow. The fact Yeldon is a high pick that isn't really all that good of a back?

You won't be able to talk them down. They're excited about their new player.

Of course they are. They still think Gus is the only problem here. Remind me how good that defense is, and it ain't all scheme related.

I think you are having confirmation bias. You want him to suck to confirm your suspicions. He is doing pretty well if you take into account that the o-line is playing like crap.

The o-line was crap last year. Robinson played better in his first 5 starts than Yeldon. What's your excuse now?

Denard wasn't a rookie last year. Nice try, though. Denard averaged 3.3 yards as rookie and *gasp* continued to get better.

Both bring different dimensions to our offense. Each RB has a skill or 2 that the other doesnt have

Denard spent most of his rookie year making a position switch From a QB TO A RB. Keep em coming buddy. I eat excuses for breakfast.

Oddly enough, that sounds like an excuse to me. But I digress.

In 2014, Denard has 2 100 games. Besides the Bengals game where he rushed for 94, he wasn't all that.

You should digress because he had never played RB. Yeldon has always played RB. If anything that's an indictment on Yeldon.

neither one of them can block great. D-Rob cuts, runs and hits holes fast. Yeldon bounces around to much before he hits the hole but when he does run he can make people miss. I don't think any of them need to be number 1. They all should get some playing time even Toby. Regardless what some of ya'll say he can still run and should get more carries. He will if D-Rob and Yeldon are still hurt. I think if you're a rookie you run even harder to make teams really get ready for you cause you are a real threat.

That's really my point. Both are spell backs but it just so happens, Yeldon was over drafted with the 36th pick. Denard was a 5th round pick. There isn't a huge talent gap.

Yes I think he is. And I think he is correct.

He was drafted as an OW which included running back.

And yes, Yeldon has which is why he is much better in catching out of the backfield and run blocking. Denard is a speed back, which is a good thing to have in the rotation. He's not built for the punishment like a 3 down back with Yeldon.
