We're probably looking to pick one up from San Francisco...just my best guess.

Meh, give me the guy out of Cincy or the guy out of Detroit. They seem to be the best young available FA G's on the market this year, and I think we can corral both of them as long as we let Caldwell do the wining and dining aspect. Tom might scare em off with his lunch plate.

I hear that a lot of the FA Gs go to Key West for vacation. But I'm cool with that if that's what they want to do.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

If you're talking to me, it's you that deserves the whoosh. My post was subtle comedy gold, yo.

Edit: I.e., shame on you guys for missing the "corral both of the best available and young FA G's using Caldwells wining and dining abilities" reference. Gold I tell you....gold!

Kyle Juszczyk still not resigned yet.  Hopefully we go hard after him

Doesn't get much more Jaguars than "hopefully we go hard" for a fullback.

was rated the number 1 FB in the league from your favorite, outside from twitter, PFF. Get one of the top guards in FA, the best FB, and draft Fournette. Hopefully our biggest priority this off season would then be fixed. Fixing the run game

From rotoworld:

<div>According to Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline, free agent RG Kevin Zeitler is expected to sign a deal "close to $10 million per year, if not slightly over that amount."
Steelers RG David DeCastro and Bears RG Kyle Long both make $10 million per year as the league's two highest-paid right guards. With the inflation of the salary cap and Zeitler already one of the best guards in the game, he could easily top $10 million per year. Pauline hears the Bengals aren't prepared to go that high for Zeitler. Zeitler is arguably the top offensive lineman available.

Let's go get him! :Smile

Sounds about right. Cleveland and San Francisco could be in play as well.

Quote:I have zero issue paying the market for a guard. It will make all the difference in the world in the run game. We have the money, give it away.

I won't be surprised though if we are a bit disappointed by this free agency period. I have a feeling we'll carry over money again.

There will definitely be plenty of people disappointed, but I'm sure the front office is going to do everything they can.

It sounded like they really only like a few guys, 1 or MAYBE 2 for each position group.

Competition for those 1 or 2 guys will be very stiff.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I think pretty much the same and I think the 2 positions they'll go heavy at will be OL and CB. They'll probably try to sign one of the guards and what they have done lately (not resigning prince, shopping House) to me it screams they'll really make a push for one of the top CB in FA.

Don't think they'll make a splash on other positions now that the best pass rushers are tagged.

The question still remains, will Coughlin and Caldwell go hard after a good FA G this offseason?

I thought Michael Sam was out of football...never mind, I just remembered, he was a LB.
