Bradley hire was a complete miss

You are what your record says you are.

Your team plays the way you coach them to play.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

This bobo coaching staff is awful. From conditioning to playcalling it's to the point where they can't even teach our receivers where to line up without an illegal formation.

Quote:Right. Losing to a great team on the road isn't shameful. Looking like the team is still multiple drafts away from actually being competitive in the NFL is shameful.
This, This, and this. This is the most concerning. This is year 3 in the rebuild and we are 7-25 on our way to loss # 26. At what point is it enough? The worst part is, if this is blown up Blake is on to system #4 in 4 yerars. Sounds familiar.

If this staff gets blown up Bortles will be a casualty of it. If he performed he'd save Gus and Dave from the axe, so far he's not doing it.

Caldwell isn't getting fired.

Bortles isn't going anywhere.

A shame if true. We're only prolonging the inevitable.

stupidity? are you saying that you're gonna defend the jags organization on this one?

there's literally no way to defend a 7-25 record

Clots went from 2-14 to the wildcard with ONE QB

Keep making excuses though, this team is a joke lol

Getting rid of Gus without getting rid of Caldwell would be the wrong move. You couldn't find a decent coach to come in for a lame duck GM.

It's sad. You can't blame them though. They want to believe so badly that they will defend till the bitter end But it's so obvious. This team is not better. They can't even move the ball but only once.

Its basically the NFL equivalent to battered wife syndrome at this point.

There is a Ray Rice joke in there somewhere.

I agree, we are suppose to lose this game. But to only put put 3 points on a defense like that, it's pathetic.

It's going to happen. Khan is not going to hire a brand new GM and coach again.

That's just it. It was noted. But somehow coaches didn't coach. That defense is one of the worst. Yet we made them look like the 85 bears.

I don't think Khan is that stupid. Gus is Dave's guy, so if Gus fails then Dave will little of value to the team since he arrived.

Khan will talk to people who know football and they'll tell him that firing just the coach and keeping a lame duck GM is a bad move. He'll either have to get rid of both, or give Dave a big extension. Even giving Dave a big extension might not be enough to convince a good coach it's an organization stable enough to allow for success.

But an owner looking to hire his third GM and third coach in four years does?

It would be his second. GM. The first was inherited, and he's given Gus and Dave a full three years. If you really don't get it then there's no helping you. If Gus goes then Dave will need to go with him.
