No I didn't. But he did earn a contract extension with them which is why I said he's their LT of the future.

He's the better player when compared to Luke.

I would easily trade our 2016 1st rounder for La'El Collins. He's just as good if not better than any top tackle prospect in the next draft, Cowboys got him on the cheap and get another 1st rounder, Joeckel doesn't seem to be panning out and our franchise QB isn't being hurt in his progression.

He played one drive yesterday. He gave up a sack to Demarcus Ware and then left the game with a concussion.

As an aside, Collins couldn't even beat out the incumbent UDFA for a starting spot.

Correct, on the first drive. He was injured alot of last year as well. Ask a Raven fan what they think of Monroe and you will probably hear things like "overpaid" and "overrated". He has been as average for Baltimore as he was here.

 

If he is entrenched as the Ravens left tackle of the future, it is only because his contract makes it impossible for them to move on from him. He's making 9 million per the next three years.

There will be no trade to fix the DE or LT situation.  Not at this point in the season.  People need to accept that and move on.

I don't see a LT trade.  However, a  scrap heap free agent would be better than Young at LT.  I didn't say the pick up would be good, just better than Young at that spot.

Jake Long HAS to be better than Sam Young, even if Long only lasts 3 or 4 weeks until Joeckel comes back. 

 

Young gave up 2 sacks on 28 snaps yesterday against an average pass rush. He'll be giving up 6 or 7 against Miami if he starts.

I was hoping for it but I think he was deadly serious about sitting out the year if someone drafted him. If he'd have went late to another team I'd have been mad but considering all 32 teams passed on him in the 7th I'm pretty sure they knew he wasn't gonna sign.
