So Bortles isn't training with Tom House this offseason?

Quote:Bortles on Barstools? You don't say... I didn't know he was training for beerfest...

Since he's used to losing, he shouldn't be too upset when he fails to wrestle that title away from me.

I'm sure that BB5 will be fine w/respect to on the field performance in 2017 and beyond. By tweaking his mechanics and Footwork along/w being healthy, he's sure to recoup/bounce back ("Last year he took some Ls but this year he'll bounce back"). Unlike others, I feel that he has what it takes to be the face of our franchise. He needs stability as in the coaching staff in order to continue his upward progress...

Quote:Jesus Christ. That party was the week of the superbowl. These guys get time off too. Believe me, Bortles knows what is at stake and will do everything in his power to be the best he can. He'll be training with a QB coach this offseason.

Well Said...

I am not. And I would love to see Blake succeed. But I firmly believe he is done in Jax.

So if he does succeed but outside of Jax. I no longer care.

Blake will not be the starter. He was not drafted nor brought in by Tom.

Dave is on last leg. And gus is gone.

And even if Blake starts. Doug will have no problem benching him. (See Buffalo)

Ya can't bet the farm on a guy who regressed and a guy who has not played a game sides a few snaps. In like 6 years.

Someone is coming in to compete. Be it Tony, Tyrod, Kirk, Ryan, Rookie etc.

That is not hating. That is reality.

If the bottom line to Tom is winning!

Then you can bet competition will be here.

A great oline and a better running game. Wont matter if ya qb is not accurate.

Tom is not going to bet the farm on Blake anymore.

If he does. I would be shocked. And admit I was wrong.

Sorry for the cynicism but if he hasn't learned how to throw a football THREE YEARS into an NFL career, he probably never will. It shouldn't be this hard for the 3rd overall pick in the draft.

He has thrown for a 8334 in the last two years but he can't throw football? Stop being ignorant because his throwing motion isn't as smoothly as others.

How do you know Blake Bortles is lazy? If anything, base from the reports we hear he is a very hard worker so do us as a favor and stop saying things like an idiot.
