Who was the best player your H.S, team went up against in the seasons that you were on the team?  

 

  Considering that the Jacksonville area has produced many very good to great players over the years,   you probably saw a number of impressive players.

 

I know this is off topic but it made me think of these two guys that I played against in high school.  This was at a time when high school ball in my area was run, run, run.  These guys were scary good in high school.

I played against Tony Carter in high school.  I believe he was Super 11.  I never understood the hype even through his career at FSU.  Granted, that dude could absolutely fly. 

 

Dude just got cut from the Broncos after a 7 or 8 year career.  Crazy. 

 

Played against Keith Rivers too.  He was one of the best players I have ever seen in person. 

 

Prob the best player I have ever seen in person was Joe Singleton QB for Forrest.  That dude could absolutely ball.  He had a scholarship to Miss St. but turned into nothing.
