When Did We Acquire Drew Brees As Our QB?
|
Quote:He looked great. My only concern this preseason is when he is really pressured. At times he makes stupid throws like he did last year. Other times he is cool, calm and collected when under the same pressure. He'll improve in that area as he gains more confidence and experience. No idea what you are talking about

If anything he looks better when he has to make something out of nothing. I don't think my teal glasses are on, but this guy is going to win us the big one...
I agree. If the Jaguars have any shot at winning a SB in the forseeable future, it's going to be with Blake at the helm.

Quote:I'm really looking forward to D6's thoughts on this game. DiamondJag, with all due respect to Teddy Bridgewater, who has the potential to be a very good QB, I'm glad Blake Bortles is not on the Vikings ( or Bears ). Though it was a pre-season game, Bortles clearly has huge upside potential. His accuracy, velocity, pocket presence, and overall vision were on display in Jax the other night. I came away very impressed with Bortles in the pre-season game last year in Detroit when Bortles drove the Jags to a FG drive in the last two minutes of the first half. While he had major growing pains in the regular season, I think Bortles is ready to take his game to a noticeably higher regular season level in 2015. Especially, since the Jaguars Center and RT situations are much better at this time than in 2014. The only question for me with Bortles is whether the left side of the Jags O-Line will be good enough. |
