Walters isn't making this team. Washington probably won't.

Quote:I wonder what it would take to sign Reggie Wayne? lol. We could probably get him on a cheap deal. I don't like Washington or Walters... Benn was the only good one out of that bunch imo.
He wont come here unless we pay him a lot of money, plus the Pats just worked him out

Benn seems like a walking Blue Cross claim.

Good news on McCray though

Yeah... that guy.

Then again, even if the MRI is fine I don't see him making the final 53.

@mike_e_kaye: Gus has not had the discussion on putting Benn on IR.

Quote:McCray was a knee contusion.

Fortt a meniscus.

I think Armbrister officially took Fortt's spot last night though, if he hadn't already.

Agreed on Armbrister. Along with Grant, and maybe Marshall as well, he represents a fantastic find by Caldwell in undrafted free agency.

To me, there have been three outstanding UDFA finds this year who should make the final roster, IMO:  Armbrister, Grant, and Marshall.

There was talk last night about keeping as many as 5 RBs.

That would have to be Yeldon, Robinson, Gerhart, Pierce and Grant.

To be honest, if it gets down to four RBs, I might keep Grant over Pierce due to speed and return ability.

Given the injuries to LB plus his ability in coverage, I think Armbrister keeps a spot on the 53.

I've already discussed Marshall.

Now that Benn is hurt, I wouldn't be so sure. Walters may be the fastest WR on the roster along with being one of the most experienced. I'll give Washington the edge for now due to his production so far, but with Walters also showing up on Special Teams I think the battle between these two is closer than many think.

My guess is they keep five WRs not counting Benn, and then they'll make a call if they want to keep Benn as a sixth WR on the roster, waive-injured him, or else IR him possibly with a designation to return. We know the top four, so the fifth is sure to be Washington, Walters or maybe Sterling since he was a draft pick. Sterling has been hurt, but he might get a chance to show something next week. Tandon Doss is not impressing as a PR and he's virtually useless at WR so I'm convinced he's getting cut. Copeland was just injured having already been a huge longshot.

He had a guy on the Sideline Forum recording your posts.
