Week 2: Good, Bad, and the Ugly

#21

Quote:overall it was a pretty poor effort by the team today.  Reveivers dropping easy balls, toby stunk, oline missed some blocks, the backups played like CFL backups.  Pretty poor effort today.

The starting offense did good things like move the ball but only came up with 9 points.

The biggest concern is the pass rush.  I didn't see any
Nah, Toby seemed effective in his role. Tongue

He still threw for 40 something yards in a 2 minute drill and looked more impressive. (Did Tuel even through 40 yards in all that time he was out there?)

ELI went 4/14 for 46 yards.  That is what I like to see

OBJ got 0 balls

Tuel managed 63 yards while completing 6/11.

Quote:Why are you betting $500 on a preseason game?

Hey say what you want... I won 1200 bucks last week on a parlay card that included the jags.

And thanks to Tuel I am one win away from collecting this week! Go pack go!

I love preseason betting, as Long as you gt a decent back up qb, one or two good WRs, and a coach with a history of giving a damn, it's easy money.

I actually thought I was safe in the game today... Had no idea chad would suck it up so bad today.

Agreed.  Someone needs to step up for Blake.  He looks like the lone ranger out their.  The only guy capable of keeping us competitive.  I can only imagine when this dude gets reliable receivers.

I didn't notice Colvin, but at CB that's often a good thing.

I believe McCray had him first and then he switched sides, regardless he did nothing and was getting very frustrated. Should have had a penalty on a late hit, Sergio's trash talking was starting to get in his head, I love it.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

... or Nassib threading the needle on every pass. When a QB is that hot there's not much the defense can do about it.

I wasn't impressed with the Jags coverage. OBJ dropped some passes, and most of Eli's passes just flat out missed open receivers.

No they came on a blitz it was a LB

Also with no Pass rush the coverage was good, Eli and ODB sucked which is good they are a hyped up offense

Bortles was good, drops still hurt, Toby did his job get the short yards

Skuta still cant stop the run

Good: Bortles

Bad: Henne

Ugly: Drops! Blake put one on the money for a TD to Hurns and he couldn't hold it. I'm rooting for Hurns because he was impressive as a rookie but if his hands don't show any improvement this year he'll be gone from the team next season. ARob dropped an easy one too but that's unusual for him.
