What does that even mean?

Chad Henne is the perfect backup for the Jaguars.  He's not a starter but in spot duty or for a week or two he can get the job done.  It's when he's called upon to be the starter week after week when you're going to start seeing problems.  He's not going anywhere.

They're backups for a reason. We are pretty lucky to have one back there who has been a starter and has a ton of experience. If he was as good as a starting QB, he'd be one.

Cutting Henne would be idiotic.  He and Blake have a great relationship.  He's one of the best backups in the league.  Could you imagine Morris as the QB if Blake went down..OMG.

Quote:Why do people always seem so eager to cut good experienced backups? So we can sign somebody worse? smh

Most people don't. The OP is either trolling or hit the bottle early.

They played a lot of Madden in the off-season.

Based on his track record I'd say trolling.

I'm not Henne's biggest fan, but as far as backups go he's one of the best. Plus as someone said, he's perfectly happy with his role here, why would you cut that?
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Henne looked sharp against Pittsburgh. I'm glad he's not our starter anymore, but I'm glad we have a back up like him

Precisely, although I wouldn't rule out a Henne trade with a decent enough offer.
