Not really. Cassell has been getting the bulk of their starting reps.

co starters? everyone gets a trophy

You can't exactly have co-starters in a game as that would result in more than 11 players on the field.

Tandon Doss is the starting PR, and Bradley recently mentioned him as being reliable at the postiion. I see Corey Grant winning the KR spot, but I don't know that anyone is really beating out Doss as the PR. If Doss makes the roster, then I'm thinking the WR position will end up as follows...

1. ARob

2. Hurns

3. Lee

4. Greene

5. Benn

6. Doss (WR/PR)

Practice Squad

7. Tony Washington

8. Neal Sterling
(draft pick)
, Damian Copeland
(speedy jar on shelf)
, or Greg Jenkins
(recently signed Florida native)

Bryan Walters is sort of a wildcard with his experience and speed, but I don't think he's PS eligible.

It's preseason so co-stars is a play on words of the coaches basically saying that nothing is set in stone during preseason.

Quote:I don't understand why Doss is so high up the WR depth chart.....has he caught anything in camp?
My theory is they want to see him against the other team's starters as he is on the bubble.

I am probably wrong but I don't see what they see in Doss.

Quote:It means who ever is starting gets more time going against the 1's/better comp.

At this point, 1s and 2s carries little weight. The Jags have been rotating guys in and out on a series basis. I imagine we'll see more of the same during preseason games. Those co stars or starters are just positions where competition hasn't cleaerly worked itself out yet. It's training camp time and to be expected; hence it means squat right now. There will be many changes.

I'd be very happy with this.

Im not really a Doss fan but if he can do work as a PR then I'm fine with him making the team.

The co/starter stuff is only for the preseason I would guess, but then again we do switch out players often.

I think Benn sticks around until we are sure Lee is healthy and once Green shows he is ready for the NFL

Doss stays unless Green can prove he is worthy PR and ST guy like Doss

Why do some still use a single silo for WRs?

That's like ranking offensive or defensive linemen all together in one silo, too.

The third WR silo got destroyed by the evil Death Shart.
