I would too. But if we don't, you can draft one in round two or three. You may be better off in the long run.

A main reason why I'd like to get Murray is to take a lot of the pressure off Bortles while he is still developing and I don't think a rookie rb can come in and do that this year.

Quote:Here are the official percentages of the different teams to land the DeMarco Murray "sweepstakes":

Dallas - 62%

Oakland - 29%

Jags - 9%

I'm sure MissJagsFanatic will have questions about these numbers but I assure you, these came directly from Vegas.

What are the betting odds? I'd throw $50 on the Jags for the heck of it

So 91% we don't? Those are Jerry Porter-like odds.

Forget Murray trade the 36 pick and Lewis to New Orleans for the 31st pick and draft Gurley

Thats on draft day

We get our RB, they will still be able to grab a TE

They have vet Lewis and then bring in a young TE to groom in the 2nd round, since they might rebuild after this year, Brees is prob out after the season

The Saints are in salary cap hell and just dumped their all-pro TE because he's expensive, you think they would be a team to trade for Lewis and his huge contract?

Makes 0 sense.

We should not get rid of Lewis to move up 5 spots.

Better idea: Trade Marcedes Lewis to another team that can give us an extra draft pick. A running back available at #31 probably will still be available at #36.

I don't think they've (dave) ever stopped pushing. Just down playing it so not to disappoint fans if they can't land him
