Fowler Hurt at Rookie Camp - Torn ACL

Quote:definitely not the end of the world.

I feel we should still be much improved over Last year.
Even on defense, the team is going to be better this year based on the other acquisitions.  Fowler was a nice add, but he wasn't the missing link that makes this team a contender.  That rests on the arm of the QB.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I bet all of the draft picks line up outside of Dave's office to put their name on the dotted line though.

I mean, who are you blaming for this?  Lol, it sucks, but has nothing to do with the team.  As they say, poop happens.

To whatever football deity governs these things....

We're sorry!

We're sorry we humiliated Marino in his last game.

We're sorry if any of us got any glee, joy, or any positive vibe from Clowney's injury last year.

We're sorry for any other thing we have done to offend.

Signed...

I know we complain a lot about it and every team faces injuries, but seriously, you have to admit, we have had some awful luck.

Quote:No. He signed a waiver to participate in the mini camp guaranteeing his contract in case of injury. He gets the full sum regardless if he plays a down for he Jags.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Before suffering season-ending torn ACL, Dante Fowler signed an injury protection waiver that obligates Jaguars to negotiate in good faith.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">There's no way the Jags aren't signing him though.

No kidding.  I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stitious, and I'm willing to try anything at this point.

Fans should feel better tomorrow. The key to our record improving was always going to be our offense improving. We still have a good defense that can get after the QB.

I absolutely agree.

nice luxury but it's all on blakes arm.

there's still plenty of time to find someone who can play fowlers position this year

It still doesn't feel real?  Am I in a dream?  Maybe if I concentrate hard enough I'll zoom myself into an alternate reality where he did not tear his ACL.

I agree that it doesn't kill the seasons possibility. You are completely right. But as JAGS fans, the continual bad luck and bad decision on our first rd picks (who should be staters and game changers) at some point should end. But it seems to keep going and going (maybe we should be the Jacksonville Energizers)... I wish we could just catch a break..
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!
