The Titans beat you twice. A loss by you anywhere else in the season, or a win by them puts them ahead of you.

Yes, you won the division, congrats. I am not claiming otherwise, so don't go there. It was a narrow victory to be sure though.

The numbers say by a half game but who knows it coulda been by 1.5 If they needed the last game of the year against the titans.

They didn’t need the last game against the titans.  Go do your homework before you make yourself look...never mind.

The jags played 2 games knowing they won the division.  The bills finished their season and didn’t even think they’d be in it.

If they didn't come to play that 2nd game, they wouldn't have put Fournette (19 carries) or Bortles (34 pass attempts) out there.

So if you didn’t know why did you say they narrowly made it.  Seriously, do some research.

Just to be clear, the Jags played most starters in week 17 in trashville. However, the staff were expecting a rematch the following week during the postseason, and were one 4th down miraculous play by the Bengals to actually doing that. For that reason, they closed off over half of the playbook. The division was already won, and seeding was locked in. The Jags preferred not to have "shown their hand" in a meaningless game. They wanted to save it for the following week. This was confirmed by coaches and management.

You won the division because the Rams got it done against the Titans. See, I can do it too.

Yeah, you’re right.  That’s so much worse than hoping other teams in the hunt for the 6th seed choke or suck more than you.

I didn't say narrowly I simply posted the numbers on why someone else would say narrowly.  Numbers don't lie they won the division by a half game that's it.  It is a narrow margin.

It’s not a narrow margin when you lock in the division with two games left to play.

How is it a half a game when there were no ties.

Jaguars: 10-6
stinkin' tacks: 9-7

That's a one game lead. There is no dispute.

What’s a narrow margin is sitting on your couch saying “holy [BLEEP]! Andy Dalton saved our [BLEEP]. We’re in!”

Let's be honest with one another.  The jags wanted to win The last two games and still have a shot for a bye.  They choked against the 49ers then only half heartedly played the titans.  To say they threw both of them games is just flat dumb and no one will ever believe that.

Yes it is a narrow margin no denying that

I'm not going there when in 1996, a HOF kicker missed a chip shot to send the Jaguars into the playoffs. The rest is history. NOBODY picked the Jags to do anything. They were the sacrificial lamb to the Bills. Then they won. Then came the "Who are these jagwads" article by Woody Page, and once again, the Jaguars went out to Denver, the consensus pick to win it all, and took care of business.

Point being, there are no gimmies in the playoffs. The Jags will have to play a good game to win tomorrow. That's just a fact.

Titans held the head to head tie breaker.  If both teams finished 9-7 titans would have won the division
