Punter. Why didn't we address this in the draft?!?

Seriously though, it's a toss up between OLine and our overall secondary. I'm gonna say that the O Line has a better year this year. I think our secondary should all get a cycle of roids.

How many points did we score? How many pick 6's?

He showed much more potential than a lot of bad rookie QBs, but his results (largely due to who he was playing with) were alarmingly bad.

I guess it's a little subjective, but Bortles does not come far ahead of some of those guys.  Not saying he was THE worst (because he wasn't), but he certainly is closer to that group you linked to than not.  I think he belongs in the conversation as one of those 20-30 guys etc.

Having how many, 4 interceptions returned for touchdowns must also rank as higher than almost anyone in only 13 starts.

edit:  0.84% of his passes were interecepted and returned for a TD.

This would rank 4th worst all time, just behind Ryan Leaf and just ahead of Gabbert.  Not really company you want to keep in any statistic.

I will say that he improved significantly in this regard and didn't have a pick 6 since the Miami game.  Granted, his passing yards went down as well as the season went on, but his interceptions (and especially interceptions returned for touchdowns) went down.  So it looks like he played a much more cautious game in the 2nd half of the season.

Hopefully he can be aggressive next year but at the same time keep interceptions down.

And all those guys look a whole lot worse statistically to me.

2 doesn't make up a LB group badger.  I'm sure he knows we have Poz and Telvin, thanks for the brilliant insight once again though.

LOL... one of the "worst" rookie seasons in history.

Sounds like someone preferred another QB in that draft and is just butthurt.   :whistling:

You could make a very good argument for that to be the answer.

Tacking has been bad, Bradley has made questionable calls on fourth down and also with clock management during games. At the same time when your a bad team it's hard to draw the line between taking a chance and being aggressive or looking really stupid!

FS and O-line.

Luckily - both have been addressed to some degree.  Here's hoping it pays off.

I actually think the starting three will be decent/good, there just isn't a whole lot of proven or promising depth behind them. Can't really say that about any other group on the team. Skuta could also be this years Dakota Watson.

A talented reserve being brought in to play a position no one has ever seen before isn't really what I'd consider a lock down, write it in pen, problem solved situation.
