Where does Bortles need to be by next season's end?

#41

Quote:20+ TDs

3500 passing yards

55% Completion Rate

8-8 Record
He had 60% comp his rookie year, with all the help added, I dont see him droppin gto 55%

More TDs then int would be a good start, and winning games, improvement in all areas

I'd settle for him still being able to walk after season's end......(LOL). Seriously, Blake Bortles is NO Tom Brady or Peyton Manning Or even Andrew Luck when it comes to "carrying a team". And, probably never will be. His success is as much dependent and intertwined with the teams ability to make big plays (particularly how the OL fares this season). To speak of Bortles without giving thought to just how good his OL is gonna be, is a huge mistake in my opinion. Also, if he has a slow start coming out of the gate, that kind of pressure to turn it around "NOW" or possibly sink further just might be too much for a 2nd year QB. Like I said, an Andrew Luck he is not!

Might as well just cut him and start over,

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
