The humor about the flip phone is fine.   I admit that I'm a lagger with many,  if not most new technological inventions.    Not quite to the level of 1915 but far from 2015.

Makes the cardio go by much faster to have something to read.

 

Without the IPad,   the 48 minutes I often spend on the treadmill and 15 to 25 minutes on the elliptical or bicycle is impossible.  Because I sweat like crazy when working out,  an ear sound device isn't practical for me.

Ah, it's "an old man doesn't understand the technology" crack. Sorry, but I understand it just fine. In fact, I work as an electronic engineer for one of the larger providers of service for those devises. Are you just upset that someone doesn't share your overinflated opinion of smart phones?

I actually prefer the size and durability of flip phones. But my job requires a smart phone. Just poking fun at you geezers no biggie.

It's unfortunate that the best of both cannot be combined, as a small smart phone's screen would be too small to be usable. My work phone is a smart phone, as well, but it stays at work when I go home.
