While we are at it, are there any more words out there that they consider racist besides "thug" and the "n" word?


Maybe hoodlum, is that one racist?


How about hood rat, is that one racist?


What about criminal, is that one racist?


Could gangster be considered racist?


Any other words...............................they might consider racist?

I have seen people in the media use the term "white thug" but have never heard them say "black thug", when the subject they are talking about is black, or any minority really, they just say "thug". So yes it is clearly a racial connotation to me, and thats just one example, not basing my whole opinion on just that.  

 

They call white people criminals but black people thugs when they are doing unlawful behavior. In the context people use like to use the word "thug" I think "criminal" is much more appropriate for everyone.

They are also very subconscious about the word thug, but I will NOT let them tell me what the definition of THUG is, that's what the dictionary is for.

 

They can just look up the word "thug" in the dictionary and see what the meaning of the word "thug" is.

Why is this even a thing?

Because the standard knee jerk reaction from the PC crew in the media is to try to pin a specific label on something to generate faux outrage because it gets ratings and page hits. It's what they do.

The media rarely disloses the race of minority criminals, it destroys the victim card if they do. The one exception is when they are killed by police, then the media does what it can to start a riot.

  I've seen Neo-Nazis appropriately being called thugs without ' white'  being mentioned.   Guaranteed,   there are illustrations of this on the Internet.
