Who's "your guy" in this draft?

Quote:Todd Gurley

Kevin White

Byron Jones

And I like Vic Beasley and Landon Collins as well.

You got expensive tastes, bro.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Fowler- love his passion for the game and how he plays.

Gurley- one of the few offensive foundational pieces in the draft. Would love for the jags to trade back, even if it's to 6 and grab him.

Jeremy Langford- gets lost with an extremely deep rb class. Reminds me of Arian Foster.

Dorial Green Beckham- potential to become the best WR in the class if he stays out of trouble. I think he'd be worth the risk at 36. Julius and him in the redzone would be scary.

Tyler Lockett- same with Langford. Gets lost in an extremely deep WR class. Great Senior Bowl week.

AJ Cann, Brandon Scherff, Laken Tomlinson, Cam Erving- plug and play interior guys and will start immediately.

Green-Beckham reminds me of the guys who are high school basketball stars, don't dominate in college but are high picks based on nothing but potential.

I don't think he showed at Missouri that he will be a great player. And by the time training camp starts it will have been 20 months since he played a football game.

DUKE JOHNSON - watched this dude since he played for Miami Norland HS and lead them to the State Championship.

Top of round 2 is a little too high for me though -- Round 3 would be a steal.

DeAndre Smelter (WR - Ga Tech) -- This dude is a freak (6'2" - 226 lbs - 11" hands) but tore his ACL prior to the ACC Championship game.

Top of the 6th round would be a Colvin type steal.

Putting $1 million in this kids bank account = permanent vacation.  I don't think he has the long term desire to maintain an NFL career.

I wouldn't touch this dude !!

Gurley - speed/size freak. Love how he sheds arm tackles like they are nothing.

Scherff - As Greg Popovich would say "I want some nasty". You want it, coach? You GOT IT.

Cam Erving - Stud center

Obviously I'm a Maryland guy so I'm a little biased but the dude was underutilized and is a great playmaker. Would be great to get in the later rounds.

What was he suspended for last season?   I know he also had a kidney injury that kept him out for the end of the season as well.

Denzel Perryman.  A short LB that's not particularly fast, but will be a ruthless wrecking ball for a defense looking for an active thumper.  I think he'll be a player 5 years from now we will all wonder why he lasted until round 3.

I'm not sure I agree. I've seen him dominate plenty. See his Kentucky game, it almost wasn't even fair. Don't get me wrong though, he's extremely raw and needs a lot of work on route running. He's just a very rare type prospect with his size, athleticism and control in the mold of Calvin.

If we take him at 36, he won't have the pressure to become our immediate number 1. Hed be a much better value pick at 36 than Cooper or White at 3.

I'm a big fan of Jeremy Langford and I think he will do really well in the NFL.  He break a lot of tackles and has a nice burst!

That was a good game. But he only went over 100 yards three times in his two seasons at Missouri. He appears to have the tools but never showed ability to dominate the way Johnson did at Georgia Tech.

Not to even mention the off the field issues.

The NFL Draft is all about projection and potential. DGB has the potential to be a top 5 wr in this league. I think he showed enough flashes when he was 18-19 yo of what he's capable of doing. I wouldn't even touch him in the first round, but at 36 he'd be tough passing up. His off the field concerns are crazy. He's a typical high risk high reward type player.

I realize people get tired of polls and the draft has been beaten down like a dead horse on the first overall draft pick but I wonder which guy do you hope GM Dave Caldwell drafts at #3 if he doesnt trade down?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg17pcORq6w

DT Leonard Williams when I watched the video above one thing truly stands out he is very aware of what is going on the field and the opponets attention,

meaning he studies film well and is coachable so things like not wrapping up or something like that can be taught to the freak of an athlete he is.... I wouldnt be upset if the Jaguars drafted him

if he isnt there I wouldnt be upset if they drafted

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjHOM1TW...u.be&t=27s

WR Amari Cooper watching this film it is easy to see how evaisve he is and how he adjust himself to poorly thrown passes to make the catch.  He make yards after the catch which is important for a WR.  He finds a way to get open by his fake, jukes and route running ability.

Would I be upset if the Jaguars drafted Fowler like every mock draft had suggested?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbYyVTTtnRc

Not really he's a good edge rusher... LEO role like Chris Clemons as many suggested he compares to

Or Vic Beasley as an edge rusher like weak side OLB or LEO I wouldnt mind he's decent too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zFMVMMNh9w

The question is if you have all available and you are GM Dave Caldwell which out of the 4 would you pull the trigger on and draft?

wait going to make it slightly harder what if Marcus Mariota is there at 3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nt-FqOKy...e=youtu.be

Do you take a chance on a white Randall Cunningham?

So out of the 5 and you get no trade offers that are worth considering which one do you draft?  I mean if its need you have faith in your QB (even though rookie struggled) , LEO (even though he's old), Weak side LB (Telvin Smith proved he's the man but depth is nice), LE (you already signed Odrick & Tyson Alualu for depth at that role but Williams or Fowler could easily do that too), SAM (You signed Skuta but Fowler would excel there), DT (you signed Miller, and Marks but Williams is a beast and him and Marks together would be nasty)...., WR (this is probably the true need because GM Dave Caldwell publicly stated he doesnt have a true #1 WR and Lee unperformed as a rookie all suffered injuries all year long and then Cecil left in Free Agency...)  for that reason if BAP meets need it would be

WR Amari Cooper at #3

again I would be happy with any of the guys above they all are great athletes but if he doesnt trade down I have to think that Cooper is the pick.

Quote:Reminds me of that South Park episode where the Ethiopians depend on Sally Struthers' aid for food; meanwhile she hides in a room stuffing her face full of cheesy poofs and junk food.

Anyone decent with photo shop?
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

In the first: Cooper.

In the 2nd: Agholor.
