Somehow I doubt that. I would have rather he stayed where he was at and took Tebow and have a second round pick. But knowing Smith he would have screwed that up too. And yes, I would have preferred Tebow to Gabbert, no question. And I was one of the folks okay with not drafting him.

I was vehemently against the Gabbert pick. I always thought he looked like a fifth round pick. I didn't know just being big, tall, with a big arm was all you needed to get drafted.

At least Quinn wasn't drafted until the 3rd round (and didn't curl up into the fetal position in the face of a pass rush).
