Whatever happened to Guy Whimper (sp)? Wasn't he on the Steelers?

Key word: was. Released in the final cuts this year. He's probably found a career path that's a better fit for him than offensive tackle.

Seahawks DT D'Anthony Smith and C Patrick Lewis.

Packers also have S Chris Banjo.  I believe he signed as an UDFA and spent preseason with us.

Do we have each team represented now?

The Seahawks cut D'Anthony Smith a few weeks after we traded him to Seattle. He went to Detroit and did not stay long there. I have not read anything about him since then.

If you are right about the other two guys, that makes it 29.

Hey, what about Quentin Groves and Derrick Harvey? Is one of them a Cardinal?

So far we have former players on the Broncos, Bengals, Ravens, Patriots, Seahawks, Lions, Cowboys, and Packers. The Cardinals, Panthers, Steelers, and Colts still don't have any former Jaguars.

We discussed Winston Guy a short time ago.

I thought someone said the Steelers cut him.

They originally were listed as Patriots.

Still no Cardinals named yet.

That was Guy Whimper. Winston Guy is on the Colts practice squad.

Groves is a tack and Harvey is out of the league. D'Anthony is currently on the Seahawks practice squad.

The Seahawks should have put Smith there before the Lions could pick him up.

So still no Cardinals.

Cameron Bradfield signed a reserve/futures deal with the Cardinals on Jan 2nd.

After having D'Anthony Smith on the roster for only a week in 2013 after claiming him off waivers from the Seahawks,   I don't think he's a viable candidate to come back to the Lions for the playoffs.

As for the Cardinals,  WR Brittan Golden spent some time on the Jaguars Practice Squad a couple of seasons ago.

It means the Cardinals hold his rights for 2015, but he's not actually a member of the team yet.

Not only that, but 11 of the 12 playoff teams have former Jaguars.

Now we have to start subtracting from 32.

So far only one former Jaguar has been eliminated from the playoffs: Pittsburgh's Antwon Blake. Today either Reggie Nelson or the two Colts will be subtracted. In the NFC, either 5 or 8 former Jaguars will be removed from the list.

Cardinals VP of Player Personnel Terry McDonough was the Jaguars Director of Player Personnel before the Jaguars current regime was hired.
