I would love to see him be the weapon that Blake needs now, as well as in the future.

Quote:he's being honest about his teammate.  Oesher otoh is now only running with this narrative when earlier in the year people like him speculated that Lee was too dumb and lazy, quitting on routes, ect.

Now that the coaches are forced to give him more balls, OH HE IS WONDERFUL

How "overwhelmed" was he?  not any more than most rookie receivers, they just haven't even given him a chance to boost his confidence until now.

Boy, talk about reading into things.

Quote:Give me a break with that [BAD WORD REMOVED].  141 yards in 10 games as a top 40 player taken sucks

LOL.  Such ignorance everywhere on this Marqise Lee thing.  He's a rookie that's had 13 catches on 24 total targets. He's about to get a chance to see the field at 100% health.  Call me in 4 weeks.  I bet you change your tune if he stays healthy.  The kid will be fine.

I don't care where you select a rookie  -  immediate impact is never guaranteed.  What was your take on Clowney pre-draft?  How's he working out?

Reggie Wayne was drafted 30th overall in 2001 and his total rookie season amounted to 27 catches for 345 yards and 0 TDs.

With manning throwing to him.

Maybe just a little patience would be prudent.

Honestly just get a hooker and cheer yourself up

every post i see from you is miserable and whining

fair we are loosing and sometimes it isnt pretty but its not hard to find positives

plus its rather obvious why lee is 4th man up

cs3 is our only vet

hurns knows the play book from miami

a rob is a possession receiver running curls slants for first downs so the playbook hasnt really been opened up for him

i agree it would have been nice to.see more from lee but his lack of opportunities this year are very easy to explain

He now has 6 games to show what he can do and if he does well he will get more snaps

he currently has 140 odd yards and its feasible he could reach 500 in these 6 games which is a solid haul for a rookie wideout

Quote:So do I.

Allen Hurns and Robinson and Blackmon are our future receivers.
Hahahaha you honestly think Blackmon deserves more of an opportunity at this point than Lee, who only fell behind because a hamstring injury had him missing out in practice while Robinson and Hurns exceeded expectations? Come on dude. He's talented too, just give him a shot to show it.

He's the fastest one out of all of them and has more reliable hands than Hurns. If there's one thing our receivers haven't really done, it's get separation -- Shorts has been blanketed all year and Robinson and Hurns keep having to jump over guys for the ball. Lee has the shiftiness and smooth hip motion to get away and find open space on the field, which should really help Blake's decision making because he often has only covered guys to choose from. With a speedier receiver crossing the field he won't feel so pressed to try and force a perfect pass around a defender when we're behind -- possession receivers are great but you can't expect them to beat EVERY corner to the ball when the coverage is good. We need a guy like Lee.

Also I love that "just get a hooker and cheer yourself up" comment directed to jaguarmvp lol I always think he seems OVERLY bitter. Our football team is bad, yeah; really doesn't mean you need to shoot down people getting excited about the new talent we have.

Linder has been a good addition as well as Bowanko. Our offense is still predictable when it comes to swapping out our TE's and the plays called for each guy. We need a guy that can block and catch, not one for each.

Of course I'm bitter about this team.  IT flat out sucks and there isn't alot to cheer about.  If you want to live in lala land and shoot chocolate and sunshine up your real you are welcome to it but I won't.

I got a wife so don't need a hooker.  This team flat out sucks.  Once they start playing better my attitude will change.  For now there is nothing to cheer about.

congratulations but i disagree so ill point you to your wifes bookcase where there is probably a well thumbed book stuffed in one of the shelves

Don't read the book full of fantasies and fiction i mean a female orgasm pah where do they get their ideas from

just check out the title

fifty shades of grey

you see somewhere between lala land and your house at the top of mount doom there is all this space

don't get me wrong the jags are definitely in the darker half of the spectrum but there are still plenty of positives

D rob looks like he has the potential to be a feature back bortles looks like he has franchise qb potential a rob and h urns look like solid wideouts our d line is getting to the qb and our o line and secondary have improved from early on in the season

not to mention we are an incredibly young team that are a few mistakes away from putting it

As for lee to whine about his lack of production when i took the "savior" Justin blackmon til week 7 to get above that amount in his rookie season is really stretching for bleakness
