We don't have an enemy right now.

It's tough to have a meaningful rivalry or an enemy when you're not even competitive in most games.

Gene Smith wiped out our potential to have enemies.  We're like Haiti after the hurricane, people just feel sorry for us.

At least to our ears...

Still hate Frangie more though. He is an absolute assault on my senses.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

I don't like to use the word "hate" and I don't use it when referring to teams, players or coaches.

Many people will bring up Coach Fisher or the Titans when it comes to the "most hated" or "public enemy" #1.

Football to me is entertainment, and I love being able to watch teams, players and coaches excel in the craft.  Put it this way...  in 1999 the Jaguars only lost 3 games.  All 3 of those games were against the Titans headed up by Coach Fisher.  That is history and an accomplishment that will probably never be seen again by any of us on this board.  I for one appreciate that.  I had the opportunity to see 2/3 of that live.

Hate him as much as you want, but what Peyton Manning has accomplished in this league is something that will not be surpassed any time soon.  Again, that is a part of the history of this game that I have been fortunate enough to have seen live.

Biggest rival?  The Steelers and the Titans immediately come to mind, but I also must include the Colts.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.  Those who understand binary and those who don't.

4.  Mathis

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

That dude is still around? I left Jax 15 years ago and Lamm looked like he was 2 doughnuts away from a massive heart attack long before I left.

I dislike Watt more though, not sure why.
I dislike Watt being on any team except ours. Dude is a beast.

Quote:I'd actually say Brady before Luck. Brady beat us twice in the playoffs. Which hurts a lot.

Still, Fisher beat us three times in our best season. That alone will put him at #1 until he's gone from the league for me. That hurt more than anything Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, or anybody else has done.
Brady for sure. He stopped us from making playoffs one year too if I remember right

It would be sweet vengeance to retire Brady first, then Manning in the same way we did Marino.

If you hate him because of that reason you're gonna loathe Gus Bradley when it's all said and done.
