What's the jury on Luke Joeckel?

Duane Brown was pretty bad until his third season. So, playing along with your sig, don't be so quick on the draw.

LJ is your main complaint after this game??

Needs to get stronger.

Ideally would like to see at least some mean streak and finishing of blocks.

Still very young. Hopefully he develops.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Disappointment. Bust.  The top all-pro left tackles are plug and play straight out of college.

That isn't even remotely true.  Everyone wants him to be Boselli 2013 but that isn't realistic.  I think sometimes we forget what it is like to have picks that end up being greats at their position.  Boselli is a once in a decade type of selection.  You are more likely to get the serviceable position player that works with players on the line to perform as a unit.

Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.

Dunno if he qualifies as a troll exactly since he has over 300+ posts but his reasoning ability leads me to believe he's about 13.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Didn't get a chance to watch him much at the game today in my beer drinking state. What is the jury on him this week?

Very Slow in his Kick Slide. Once they get a jump on the snap he's trailing.....I'm guessing still fighting the ankle rust

He's played like 7 games....not even a full season. Damn you fans are unrealistic.

It is comical how bad he is. He isn't very strong, and he makes up for it with below average athleticism and poor technique.

Of course he can improve and turn out to be serviceable, but Joeckel does not in any way look the part of young franchise LT. He likely won't be as good as Monroe.

He gets better every week. He will be an anchor for years, especially as the line comes together.

Man I hope you're right, Nate.  He's continually looked soft and slow to me.

He's been alright.

I don't see our QB getting killed, which is a good thing.

I'm going to say inconclusive right now.

He no doubt has looked really bad and flat out man handled at times.

The other side is it usually takes OT's a few seasons to really play well in the NFL.  It maybe the second most difficult position to play behind Qb.  I don't think he has been given enough time.

He needs to get stronger. I thought he was going to spend this offseason improving his upper body.  He is not strong enough.
