Wait, all my time here and I didn't realize we could do this!  I saw the little "report" button but never really thought much of it.  You're all doomed now.

DOOMED.

Quote:Here's what it appears to be.

Guy runs up to Henne, starts to block him. Henne starts pulling him back, possibly down on top of him in hope of a foul. The guy goes down next to him, and they get up and that's it.

If the guy were really going after Henne why would it stop at that point?

Quote:Block him from what?  It's not during a play there guy.

Quote:Oh? So it was just in between plays at some point during the game? Could you link a story noting it, because a defender running up and just grabbing the QB randomly during the game is something that would probably get noted somewhere.

Also please respond to the bigger point, if the guy were doing something other than just trying to block Henne WHY DID IT NOT ESCALATE AFTER HENNE PULLED HIM DOWN?

Quote:Here's a link to an article that discusses the fight. It occurred during a preseason game in 2012.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"...It’s not known why Galette went after Henne after the play was ruled dead, but it’s likely that words were exchanged. amazingly, neither Henne nor Galette were flagged for the mild-fight
..."
It is funny.

Can we have a message board version of the Purge. One day we can break the board rules without consequences.

Gosh.  Maybe because there were two refs standing there at that point?

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Yeah, that's the point I'm making, obviously it wasn't something they were getting overly emotional about if they were stopping with the refs there.

If it were really a big deal the refs would have had to pull them apart.

Let the report report that I am laughing... reportedly.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

The refs did intervene as Henne wasn't exactly backing down.

You're so stoopid. Dogs can't have lists. They can't even read!

This is what I mean by a real fight where there's some obvious passion driving it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mclf_wQrMts

The incident in this thread is weird, but I really doubt the way it ended had anything to do with anyone not backing down. Like I said, it looked more like Henne was the guy that wanted the bizarre incident to continue than the Saints player, which seems to be what you're saying here, too.
