Thirded. They can keep Grigson for as long as they want.

Now I realize how the fans of the rest of the AFCS teams felt about Gene Smith.

Love  You are all a bunch of Ostriches. Grigson has been horrible, but the rebuilding Colts continue to win games. The least you could do is wait for the Colts to have a losing season.

PS, Gene Smith never won the AFCS, and he drafted at the top every year.

PS #2, Caldwell & Bradley could be the best combination the Jaguars have had, and I am excited to see if they can build a competitive team. If Caldwell doesn't hit on every transaction, I won't be crucifying him.

The Jaguars had seeming improvement under Gene Smith, too.

What's really helped the colts the most was the collapse (or continued futility) of everyone else in the division.

Like I said, though, I fully support Grigson's continued employment by the colts. If things continue the way they seem to be progressing the Jaguars will narrowly pass the colts in the division in 2015.

It's Andrew Luck.  Most 10 year olds would have drafted Andrew Luck over anyone in that year.

Luck is saving his job.

In that case, wouldn't Tannehill save Grigson's job as well?

I don't think there was an AFC south back when Shack Harris was playing.

If I recall, didn't he get 4 attaboys as a player?

Are you sure he didn't win something bigger? Like pre-season?  Tongue

Nope but do you honestly think that team wouldn't have won the currently weak AFC south?

No.

Tannehill isn't as good as Luck, what's so hard to understand?

I like Colts fans protecting their GM.... just keep it up, guys.

The rest of the AFC will be glad to see him stay with the Colts.

Even though you're still winning, it's DESPITE his terrible moves lately.  Keep it up!  Contract extension please!

2013 First Round Pick: Slow 4-3 defensive end with questionable talent who is promptly moved to 3-4 OLB and shows... questionable talent.

2014 First Round Pick: Traded for a running back with one of the lowest YPC averages in the NFL.

2015 First Round PIck: ?

Keep up the good work, Grigson.

(All in good fun, my equestrian friends. You guys can burn us on our past decade of irrelevance but the times are a-changin'.)

The past decade wasn't exactly smashing for the colts from a draft perspective, either. They've just been carried by franchise QBs with the exception of 2012.

Now that the Jaguars have a franchise QB to match it'll fall to whichever team drafts and coaches better, which is why I think Bradley and Caldwell will win.

I'm not one that tends to use hypothetical scenarios.

How is that a Troll post? He used Shack Harris as an example. Subjective examples, and hypothetical scenario's used to diminish Grigson as the Colts GM is what I consider trolling. Plus, he started it, Dad, you don't need to pull the car over.

I take it you haven't kept up with the Luck thread, otherwise you would have recognized the sarcasm.

Now that the Jaguars have an equal QB to Luck, there will be no more But's … Finally! Over, and over my Nephew would use the same stance for every debate. “But you have Manning, But you have Luck”

It is because of my Nephew that I am honestly a fan of the Jaguars as well (#2, but #3 since 18 went to the Broncos), but the moment I (A Colts fan) stand up for team #1, bam the teal color thin skin spills all over the place. If it makes you feel better about yourself to look down your nose at me for being a Colts fan, then I am glad I could help you with that.

I'm going to go mow the grass, something that has become much funner than hanging out around here.

Can't wait for the Jags to finally have the best QB in the division. I've waited 11 seasons for this since I discovered the NFL at 2am at university

Jag fans wouldn't know (shocker).
I thought he was. Who do you think has the higher ceiling.. Fleener or Allen?
