...but is miss Alabama really all that much of an accomplishment? Last years miss Alabama had two teeth missing and her talent was spitting her dip in a zephyr hills bottle from 5 feet away.

Have you ever tried to hold a bright smile of your face for that long? By the end of the night your cheeks are quivering and about to start cramping up on you!!! It's hard to look natural when you smile that much!! Especially with Vaseline on your teeth and glue on your butt!!!

Speaking from experience? Where are the 50+ pageants held in Jacksonville? I need a date.

I was thinking along the same lines.  I wouldn't think it would be difficult for someone to win an Alabama pageant.  Unless maybe they were from West Virginia.

Have you guys ever been to a football game in which one of the contestants were Alabama or Auburn? I have seen some stunning woman when those teams fans visited Florida Field, but they looked real, not some fixed smile Barbie doll.

I've actually heard that some contestants even go as far as using cloth tape, to give the rear end a lift..

Vaseline keeps your lips from sticking to your teeth while you're doing all that smiling and the spray glue keeps the back of your bathing suit from riding up as you walk across the stage in heels. Neither is very fun...trust me!!!!
