Texans left without QB

Didn't they trade for mallett? I'd say he'll be fine.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.
Quote:Didn't they trade for mallett? I'd say he'll be fine. Just a rumor I believe. Looking at who is left at QB, trading for Mallett might be their best option. That's not saying much.
hahahahahahahahahahhaha stupid texans.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Looking at the big picture, in the AFCS - The Titans and the Texans don't have a QB of the future.
I'm not convinced anybody left on the board will be franchise caliber. Not saying Bortles WILL, but Bortles definitely has the potential ability to be.

Quote:Looking at the big picture, in the AFCS - The Titans and the Texans don't have a QB of the future. I look at Tennessee like the Jaguars were in 09-10. Just a mediocre 7-9 team. Nothing more, nothing less. With Lewan, that is not going to change.
Quote:I'll be very happy if they reach on Garappolo with this next pick. When I saw Minnesota pop up on that screen last night, I was like. ![]() Quote:When I saw Minnesota pop up on that screen last night, I was like.samesies

I was starting to worry a little that they were going to get Clowney and either Manziel or Bridgewater. Glad they did not.
Hope they reach for Savage or Jimmy G Quote:I was starting to worry a little that they were going to get Clowney and either Manziel or Bridgewater. Glad they did not. i hope they trade for mallett, take that third rounder, and then use the second rounder on someone who will be bust, kinda like i assume clowney is going to be a bust. everyone was super hard for clowney but i just dont think he has any technique and he isnt even as much of a freak as vernon gholston was.

If the Mallett talk was real, then hopefully NE jacks up the price since the top 3 QBs are gone.

Quote:Texans could get desperate. All they have atm is Keenum.... lol Honestly, is he even better than TJ Yates? Quote:Honestly, is he even better than TJ Yates? No, I think they just give him a little love over there since he played at UH
They have Fitzpatrick too.
No matter who they add, if they go into the season with Fitzpatrick as the starter, I don't see them winning more than 6-7 games.

Quote:Hope they get Aaron Murray and proceed to suck. When you look at the rest of the QB class.... it's so underwhelming. Glad we got Bortles. The more you think about it, the more obvious of a choice it is.

The door has shut on their brief run lololol. They traded Schuab and have trash as their top two options. I'm loving it. Watt will waste another year on a bad team.
