Mojo gives a brutal analysis of the Jags' season.

Quote:Keep in mind the Jaguars got a 4th and a 5th round pick in 2014 for Monroe. That 4th round pick became Aaron Colvin, and that 5th round pick became Chris Smith.Well we also lost a first round pick that could have picked someone better than Colvin possibly. Of course we do not know, but to give up a relatively young top LT, highly drafted, for a bust and Colvin can't be spun as a good trade. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:What are you talking about? I said we shouldn't have let a a good left tackle go, which is what Mojo said as well, and your response makes no sense with the question mark. I quoted 9 words and responded with 2. If you can't figure out what I'm talking about, then you have serious problems.
Quote:What more do people expect from Malik? He has played very solid. Worth 90 million? Probably not, but he has played here just like how he did in Denver. He's played better than solid. IMO he's the reason we're seeing Posluszny play so much better than he did last year.
Malik's job is to collapse the middle and open things up for other pass rushers. Problem is we only have 1 other decent pass rusher on the team and he's a rookie.
He's been really good this year but with a few more horses on the Dline you'd see his work have a far greater effect. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! LOL Monroe plus other first rd pick (not Luke) Better than Luke, Colvin, Smith
In hindsight, getting rid of Monroe was a pretty terrible move in this franchises history.
Wasn't the word at the time that Monroe wanted to sign with Baltimore when he hit free agency anyway? We got at least something for trading him. I guess the question is what would we have gotten in a compensatory pick if we had just let him walk?

I seen him comment on Fantasy and Friends... similar comments, mad Bradley was canned.
His words.. Bradley "wasn't given a fair chance..." and "the first two years didn't count" and "He's a defensive coach, his defense is like 5th now" and "Can't win with a QB turning the ball over"

Not saying Monroe is some all pro, but he is 10x better than anything we have had since Tony B.
Quote:He left out the Broncos Pro Bowl MLB Brandon Marshall. No kidding. However, he would not have gotten playing time in the Gus defense so he would have appeared to be a bust here if he stayed with the Jags any longer.
Mojo looking like he is about to pop. Looks like he went from sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber to a Taco Bell. :woot:

Taco Bell is competing with Moe's for his advertising endorsement. Quote:Well we also lost a first round pick that could have picked someone better than Colvin possibly. As for Monroe, he's retired and no longer playing. Colvin and Chris Smith still are, and Colvin is probably our 2nd best CB after Ramsey for one of the league's top secondaries.

Monroe's retired, Colvin's still playing. That's enough for me. Look, it's not like we were anywhere close to competing where Monroe would've made a difference. It was about the future.

Chances are the Jaguars would only get a 7th round compensatory pick if he walked later in free agency meaning they wouldn't currently have Colvin.

Monroe was better at his position than Colvin and we aren't anywhere close to competing with Colvin either. Replacing Monroe with Joeckel was the equivalent of replacing a Lexus with an Kia. Colvin is one of the better young cbs in the game. When they traded Monroe, that's about all you could even claim if that. He wasn't exactly all world. And yes the Jaguars secondary is very close to competing with the best in the league considering they ranked top two or three most of the season.
