He is the type of gator fan you can never have a serious conversation with about football. That's just how he rolls.

Not true. Stop telling lies about me

100% serious post: UF > FSU overall. Better basketball, better baseball, better (historically) football. Those are facts right there.

Speaking of FSU tradition. They didnt have any until they copied off of the Miami hip hop, bad boy image back in the late 80s.

UF tradition goes way back.

UF tradition goes way back.

And yet with all that "tradition" FSU still won a national title before you all.

Of course you might've won one in '84 or '85 except for the Gator tradition of being on probation. Bummer.

Florida didn't do squat until Spurrier arrived, but Gator fans act like they're a blue blood or some historically dominant program.

FSU accomplished more in half the time.

Not difficult to do when you play in the ACC, and it still took fsu forever to be relevant

Looks like gators took their tradition seriously last year. Playing like they used to play all those years.

And just so we are being accurate. FSU all time win loss record (not including ties) is .677 and gators is .633. But please, continue on...

If they played in the ACC:

1. They would have stayed healthier

2. They would have won 8 games

The Ga Southern game was when the team was already morally defeated. Next year they will be back.

Again, consider the level of competition in the ACC especially a long time ago.

Plus UF is ahead in the rivalry record. So I WILL carry on. Tyvm

34-22-2

Its barely a rivarly with that kind of lopsided record

You said they were better historically. Historically they have a worse winning percentage then the Noles. Of course, when your argument is agenda driven like yours you will start to add qualifiers or whatever else you can think of to support your ridiculous argument.

Don't make excuses for Ga Southern loss. They lost because they were beat. And Ga was the better team that day. They also lost 7 other games. That's what bad teams do.

So you are conceding another bad season this year? I see it the same way. I just hope Muschamp wins just enough not to get fired.

It isnt ridiculous. It is a fact that UF has a better, more historic tradition. FSU having a better all time winning pct is skewed by their recent success too as well as playing in the ACC. UF was busy building historic rivalries in the SEC with schools like UGA and TEN. FSU was playing small ball during those times.

Ya, I mean, my flag football team has a better winning pct than UF and fsu. That doesnt mean we have better tradition.

You said better football historically. Now you are saying tradition. Of course florida has more tradition. They've been around longer. That's plain as day. But that isn't what you said. Try and keep up with your own argument.

You can make excuses but FSU has been better historically in football then the gators. Though I'll concede it is pretty close.

The argument still applies, a better winning pct does not mean "better" overall.
