Bad QB, Mercilus is out, poor offense, no passing game.............looks like all the ingredients are in place for a blowout Texan win.

Well... here we go.... it's Sunday again... Time to go through my weekly bout of depression watching this trainwreck.

Maybe it'll be so bad that Khan finds himself with no choice but to green light the firing of Gus.

Not likely... but who knows.

since when have we been blown out by a bad team? The teams that had that situation we outplayed them, but found a way to lose the game, like the KC game this year.

The first team we beat this year was Indy, so a win there is certainly possible. I expect a loss today, unfortunately.

Check back with me at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. With our offense, 3 points count as a blowout.

We lost to the zebras in that game. Call one play right and we beat the AFC's second best team.

The last time we got blown out by a bad team was Week 2.

If you think three points is a blowout you don't know what a blowout is.

And Houston is really not a bad team overall.

The Chargers qualify as a "Bad Team" and they certainly blew us out.

They didn't have the injuries mentioned, of course.

Last season we lost to multiple backup QBs.

Ultimately, I agree with his point... a game where it seems like we should be almost favored because of the negative situation on the other side of the field, now feels more likely to result in our getting dominated.

Just curious, what was your job when you were working?

Another game that's winnable.  The tin horns stink on ice, and yet they have a better record than we do.

How will we figure out how to lose this one?  I'm on pins and needles, folks

The one where I had to work one weekend each month was entry level clerical at a bank (what is now called Chase) headquarters.

Later I got a job that required working on Monday evenings, which was assembly and packing for a manufacturing company.

Chargers have a HOF QB and it was a west coast game, but still that was week 2, we have not been blown out by a team with a crappy QB, we played Houston well last time, and now they have no Watt or Mercelous guys who terrorized us.

I'm not saying we will def win, but we wont get blown out.
