Smokescreen or fact: How can we tell the difference?

It is all smoke until after the draft...Its fun up until the last week or two before the draft. Then it just gets so obscene how much smoke is being blown it no longer becomes fun and we wall just want it to finally happen.

Quote:That draft has nothing to do with this one. My point is because teams have given away their intentions before, there is no reason to believe "all" statements from NFL teams are lies. At this point, there is no reason not to believe the Browns are telling the truth Manziel or trading up for a quarterback, but the part about wanting a coach who likes Manziel is obviously a lie. What possible motive could the Browns have for announcing their desire for a particular player and willingness to trade up? Talk about showing your hand at the poker table.

Quote:What possible motive could the Browns have for announcing their desire for a particular player and willingness to trade up? Talk about showing your hand at the poker table. The same one the Redskins had when they said they want to trade up for Robert Griffin - to get the Rams, who don't need a quarterback, to trade down.
If the Browns don't want people to know what their intentions are, why do they say anything?
If they actually do trade up for Johnny Manziel, the naysayers are going to feel like idiots for telling me not to believe it. |
