I had a torn retina about 3 years ago.

mine also tore a blood vessel when it did.

Let me tell you .......it isn't fun.

after having it repaired, I had to lay on one side for 2 weeks, so the gas bubble that was injected would hold the repair from the inside.

Looked like i was hit by Mike Tyson the day after the repair.

 

i think news said he had four surgeries.....my guess is he didn't stay down long enough.

Being nearsighted and getting old is the pits.  :turned:

I watched the end of Football Night in America. NBC showed short clips of postgame coach pressers. Mike Zimmer was one of them. I could clearly see his swollen right eye. He was not wearing a patch.


So anyone who doubts he has two eyes can watch that.

His swollen eye was removed and replaced with frozen ball of ice to bring the swelling down. Anyone who is a real fan knows eyes have to be removed when there is signs of eye concussion symptoms
