I just gotta rattle some cages here

Quote:I don't think they share the 1a and 1b. Jameis won the Heisman, National championship, and went undefeated in his first year as a starter as a redshirt freshman. That to me trumps what Charlie Ward did. Read this..... http://www.tampabay.com/sports/college/f...93/1055407 CHECK OUT THAT SCHEDULE !!! We show less advertisements to registered users. I also don't recall either Manning or Luck throwing 40 TDs in a year in college. http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/play...ing-1.html http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/play...uck-1.html http://espn.go.com/college-football/team...-seminoles Not sayin'....just sayin'... Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:But guyyys you're missing the really important part. Tebow has more playoff wins in the NFL. Cam made $180,000 in college too --- only Reggie Bush can top that one.
Quote:I also don't recall either Manning or Luck throwing 40 TDs in a year in college. I said I don't recall Manning or Luck doing that. "That" was driving his team 80 & 66 yards to win a national championship --- Winston > Manning & Winston > Luck I have no idea what you are referring to up in your post. Jim Kelley may have beaten Nebraska in a championship game, but he never beat Pitt on a Monday Night.
Florida State fans can say that Winston is the bestest ever of all time to ever play the game... but they will be the only people saying that.

Looks like I'm going to have to be THAT guy. Winston is simply not that good. He's average and last night he played like a game manager. Winston was not the reason why fsu won the game. If he could enter the draft there is no way he would be picked ahead of bridgewater. He had terrible footwork and couldn't read a defense to save his life last night. He was exposed!
Crab Cakes and Football! That's what Jacksonville does!
Winston wouldn’t have been undrafted if they played in the SEC either. Not taking anything away from them, they are the champs but guaranteed if FSU had to play South Carolina, Texas AM, Alabama, Mizzouri, Auburn, ect week in and week out they wouldn’t have went undefeated.

That is why they would never leave the ACC. Its not a weakness to play a soft schedule, its an advantage.
Quote:Manning & Luck never beat Duke & NC in the same season. Manning couldn't ever beat Florida...
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

And we know florida would fight hard to not allow FSU to join so round and round we go. 3rd NT and 3rd Heisman. We are all tied up gators.
Rattling cages is kinda fun, isn't it?
I wish Tebow the success that college great Todd Blackledge has achieved. Quote:Winston wouldn’t have been undrafted if they played in the SEC either. Cool speculation bro. They beat the SEC champ. ![]()
Bullseye, you are a bad man. A very bad man.
There were times last night when Winston reminded me of Byron Leftwich, and I don't mean that in an entirely negative sense. If one thing is certain, it's that Winston needs at least one more year, maybe two, before he's ready for the NFL. Still, he's already ahead of Tebow when it comes that.
If something can corrupt you, you're corrupted already.

Quote:Bullseye, you are a bad man. A very bad man. Thank you! Now I'm picturing Babu from Seinfeld. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VN29X2HCKpU I agree he could certainly use more experience and coaching before making the move to the NFL, but he has some ability, and it was evident even in the midst of a bad first half. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:Charlie Ward was better No. Everyone associated with FSU will tell you that Jameis is the best in school history. |
