Our 2014 opponents

Bust on me all you want, bottom line is most people could probably see the scenerio I painted actually happening. I've come to expect the worst possible outcome for circumstances for this team, and I don't think I am alone anymore. They just seem cursed.

Their are a ton of teams in your neck of the woods you could jump ship to.  Just imagine how many more games you could see!

Lol people picking wins and losses already, you have no clue who will be good or bad next year, who wouldve thought ATL, Houston and Washington to suck this year?

Quote:Admit it, you could envision my scenario you quoted happening to this team. Its happened twice already in the past 3 years, so whats one more time?...

Its actually not far fetched at all, either.
It's not even that, it's that you're unnecessarily going from thread to thread posting about it.

It only needs to be posted one time.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Or Kansas City and Carolina going to the playoffs? Just the fact that Detroit led the NFC North for weeks surprised me, even though Jim Shwartz ended up losing his job.

I will never understand why people think they can predict wins and losses before just by looking at future opponents.

This is similar to the 2006 schedule which was the last season of 100% full sellouts including club seats..  Only drawback is no Cowboys in this cycle which means we won't seem them in Jacksonville till 2022 if the NFL keeps its current schedule format.  That season was after a playoff year so it was thought we had a decent team plus a great schedule...    I also wonder if the NFL will become more creative with pricing  next season..  There is a fair amount of pushback at the high cost of preseason games...

Quote:Kind of weird - except for the Colts, no home game against a team that made the playoffs in 2013.
Sounds like our streak of home blowouts is gonna end. We will finally get all the respect with or great home record next year!

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

This is a much easier schedule than we had last year.

At least 2 of the teams you are tempted to pencil in as beatable will be better than anyone thought.

And 2 of the teams everyone sees as playoff contenders will be beatable.

It happens every year.

That's why predicting anything from this list of opponents is pointless.

My day was okay. Went to see American Hustle but it was sold out so we went to the bar instead.

Nope. A couple IPAs and a Newcastle.

However one of my new favorite drinks is hard apple cider with a couple shots of fireball.
