His arm strength is more average than weak. He does have his moments where he can sling it but then there's times where the ball is a bit behind the receiver. Deep ball accuracy is pretty much an issue for everyone in this class who isn't Derek Carr anyway. Fisch's playbook likely won't have him throwing dots 50 something yards all day anyway.

 

Accuracy is way more important and he's one of the more accurate passers in this draft. He may not have run the fastest 40 but he's quick with the pads on. He can extend plays and keep his eyes down field. I've been on the Fales badwagon for over a year now and I still am. I think he's the best QB for our offense that isn't a 1st or 2nd rounder.

He is one of those QBs who is highly predicated on timing and compatibility with his WRs, which is the exact opposite of the SR bowl/combine atmosphere. He would be one that is naturally expected to struggle there.

If you cant complete passes easily with no defense and no pads, you arent going to be good in the NFL. I feel pretty confident with that prediction.

And yet some guys will complete those passes, get drafted high and won't make those throws consistently in NFL games with receivers they are familiar with. The tape doesn't lie. Fales is a solid QB.

I think I just got drain bamage reading your post, Derek Carr had the LOWEST completion percentage on throws >20 Yards. Since when has Manziel struggled with deep accuracy??? Teddy has OK deep ball accuarcy but is still miles ahead of Carr.
