He misjudged that punt.....easy to do under the lights and in that win.....so neither QB had the winning drive......so the debate goes on

Amazing game. Cheap ending.

HORRIBLE way for that game to end.  The Broncos and everybody watching got jobbed by this one.

Two things jumped out for me in this game.

1.  While the Broncos ended up losing in OT after having a huge halftime lead,  Peyton Manning handled the weather elements better than I expected.   This loss definitely shouldn't be put on him.   If the Broncos can get healthy in the Secondary,  they have a good chance at reaching the Super Bowl.

2.   Tom Brady continues to be a sensational QB.   As much as anything though, even though I picked the Patriots to win this game,    I'm amazed that the Patriots are 8-3 despite their injuries on Defense.    A strong case can be made that Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are the best HC/ QB combo of all-time.   Even though the Patriots haven't won a Super Bowl since the 2004 season,   they are always in contention regardless of the adversity they face.    They probably won't win the Super Bowl this season but does any team truly want to play them to advance in the playoffs???

Manning, as always, put up godly numbers and is probably the most cerebral QB ever.  Brady is probably the most clutch.  What he is doing this season with a patchwork defense and receivers is nothing short of amazing.

brady has had real defenses.  manning has had awesome offensive talent.

Wow, Manning and Brady are both tied at 28 apiece for the category of "Who is the better QB?". In terms of rivalry, Brady just owns Manning and his teams.

Brady over Manning

Quote:Manning

Brady

Manning

Now if this were the playoffs, I'd take Brady.  But I'll take Peyton Manning in a warm weather super bowl any day over Brady.  Brady's great.  But he's not Peyton's level.  Sure he won 3 super bowls.  But with a team Matt Cassel took 11-5.

Um, that 11-5 season was 4 seasons after Tom Brady's 3rd Super Bowl. It was far from the same team.

New England leading WRs...

2001 Super Bowl season: Troy Brown and David Patten.

2003 Super Bowl season: Deion Branch nd David Givens.

2004 Super Bowl season: David Givens and David Patten.

2008 11-5 (Cassel) season: Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

But go ahead and make things up.

Honestly its like saying which is better Coca-Cola or Pepsi, both are very popular and leaders in their fields it comes down to personal perference but both should be in the Hall of Fame & nobody really doubts that.

I picked Peyton, Tom, Tom for these reasons;

NFL MVPs go to Peyton whom played for weaker teams than Tom has at  New England (see Matt Cassell),

which is why i picked Tom for the 2nd part, but I picked Tom for the last part because he has a great record in the post season (of course a lot of that is because of his team tied in with the 2nd).

What's with the Matt Cassel name drops? Tom Brady won his three Super Bowls with teams that were worse than the team Matt Cassel went 11-5 with.
