So basically Bortles has turned into Henne. That's not good, not good at all.

Henne COULD also take you to 7-9 or 8-8.  

 

We are all hoping Bortles gets better.  But I'm not in the camp that he should automatically play next year.  

 

I would take it one step further.. if we are 2-11 in 2 weeks, I would give the rookie 3 games to start to see how he plays.

No Henne can't get us to 8-8. Otherwise he would have at some point in his career.

Also, for this season 7-9 is the best we can hope for. I don't think Henne has ever won 5 in a row.

 

And yes... I'm all aboard the idea of starting Allen. To see what he can do under live fire.

I can't stand Bart Scott. It's a shame he even has a job on CBS. He's the kind of guy you want to punch square in the face most of the time when he speaks. He's a tool. Rodney Harrison on NBC is another shame. I can't stand him either. Heath Evans and Jamie Dukes are jokes as well on the NFL Network. 

I'm also not a fan of Marshall Faulk.

 

I'm sure there are more of em. But some guys come off very smug and it is not appealing at all.

He is sometimes just as capable if not more so than Blake.  It's not supporting Henne, it's just an indictment on Blake.

 

It just shows you don't have a clue. 

 

Jags would be 0-16 with Henne.

 

Chad Henne career: 58 TDs-63 INTs  - averaging 198 pass yards per game

 

Blake Bortles career: 66 TDs-48 INTs- averaging 246 pass yards per game

 

 

The ignorant people bagging on Bortles for mistakes and INTs don't realize that Henne has MORE INTs 

 

 

And Henne played in MORE garbage time than Blake. 

 

Not only is Henne half the QB Bortles is, Henne is one of the worst backups in the NFL.

Yeah, Henne had the last 3 game win streak in Jags history... back when our schedule was Texans/Browns/Texans.  BTW the Texans and Browns that year?  2-14, and 4-12.  So impressive.  Much wow.  

 

It's easy to forget that this team is 2-9 right now, looking at 2-14.  Our two wins were close wins too--by 3 points or less.  Only game I could see him winning that Blake lost was the Ravens game.

With space cadets logic, these stats showed marked improvement in Henne's rating over his last 3 seasons.  I mean, dude had a 3:1 TD/INT ratio in '14.  Just put the guy in, he's clearly headed to the HOF!
