Justin Blackmon, did you know?

Quote:I didn't need stats; if you watched Justin play at Ok State it was easy to see he was one of the most dominant receivers in college football history. I know you didn't need them. I was just showing everybody else. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:LOL.....shouldn't that have been a penalty on #81 in the top clip? Isn't that an illegal block in the back or something? Or is that only enforced on returns? As a high school football coach I can answer that question for you. No it's not a penalty because the ball carrier is in front of him and #81 has the right to push, block, or run in to him and cause both players to trip. If the WR was cracking down on a LB on a play like a toss sweep then the WR that is blocking must get his helmet in front of the defender...and if the defender's has his back turned that is when it becomes a block in the back. Another way to look at it is if the defender is further up field than the blocker then it is legal to block them....most guys just give them a shove, which is perfectly fine. Quote:Not sure if srs. Lol that first one he didnt outrun anyone, and in the second you can just tell he doesnt look fast. If you cant tell the difference between him and cecil running in the open field than im not going to bother wasting my time making you realize hes not fast. Hes never going to be a deep threat, but thats ok. And 40 times mean nothing, Blaine ran a 4.6 something.

You don't have to be fast to be elite. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:88 I think but that's irrelevant. I know that. I'm not sure if someone else does. Quote:Number the following catagories in terms of importance, then tell me again why Blackmon can't be elite: I dont just throw around the word elite like some posters here. I reserve that for the top 5 players at that respective position who have elite traits in every aspect of playing their position. Blackmon will never be better than Calvin, Julio, AJ, Dez ect. People are out here trying to twist my words into saying hes trash. He and cecil could both be top 15 WRs in the league and that would be great for us. And i would rank them 4, 1, 2, 3 in the order you listed them. If you dont have all 4 your not elite. Quote:Yeah, Julio Jones > Jerry Rice because, you know, downfield speed... Yeah thats exactly what I said, keep makin things up  We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:I dont just throw around the word elite like some posters here. I reserve that for the top 5 players at that respective position who have elite traits in every aspect of playing their position. He could easily be up there with AJ, Julio, Dez.. give him another year and a QB and you will see. Quote:lolz.......what was Jerry Rice's 40 time?? He ran a 4.46 at his proday, thats a good time. He is not a burner on the field and its obvious, sorry youre too blind to see it. And you calling other people a "clown" is beyond hilarious.

AJ Green and Dez Bryant aren't technically burners according to you and you just said Blackmon won't ever be as good as them.

Quote:AJ Green and Dez Bryant aren't technically burners according to you and you just said Blackmon won't ever be as good as them. He's trying so hard..... Quote:Wait... just a couple posts ago you said 40 time didn't mean anything..... It doesnt, JB runs a 4.46 but doesnt play that fast on the field.
Quote:AJ Green and Dez Bryant aren't technically burners according to you and you just said Blackmon won't ever be as good as them. What? Your telling me Dez and Green dont get open deep on go routes? Im done here, you guys took my original statement of "Blackmon cant win deep on go routes, which is needed for an elite WR" and turned it into whatever you wanted to. Typical jags MB. Quote:It doesnt, JB runs a 4.46 but doesnt play that fast on the field. I'm not saying Blackmon is fast.. but that doesn't mean he can't be elite. Quote:It doesnt, JB runs a 4.46 but doesnt play that fast on the field. This is the dumbest thing I have read in a very very long time. Quote:What? Your telling me Dez and Green dont get open deep on go routes? How would we know what Blackmon can do on deep routes? He would actually you know would have to have a ball thrown to him on a deep route before we can make that judgement. Did I say they don't get open on deep routes? You literally just did what you complained about. |
