How Overrated Is Teddy Bridgewater...

#41

How often do current NFL scouts and GMs actually publicly attach their names to evaluations of players leading up to the draft?

And WHY would they do that?

On Wisconsin.

Quote:You're great. It appears only your "Ex NFL scout" has the appropriate credentials to grade out Teddy.

Yet when others post very similar articles, they are not as valid as yours. Go read McShay and Kiper. If you actually do a little bit of research instead of just taking one guys opinion, you will find that Teddy is absolutely below Luck because Luck (from Dilfer) is the best QB prospect ever. Better than Elway and Manning, so of course Teddy won't beat him. But he is right below Luck, as the best prospect in the last 10 years.
actually i tried researching, but mostly i came up with mock draft site evals, or maybe my google skills isnt on par with yours, thats why ive been asking other posters to provide some.

Quote:I think its really telling that when CURRENT scouts were polled preseason they all thought Bridgewater should be drafted over Clowney. That is comparing both of their 2012 tape. I dont think many people would have argued that Tanehill should be drafted over Clowney...
yeah thats cool but its a poll and all that suggests is hes the best qb/best overall prospect, which i agree hes the best qb prospect, i just dont agree with the hype hes getting in this board, i mean its warranted due to our qb play, but im waiting until proper evals to start buying into it.

How about you attempt to form your own opinion and stop being such a sheep instead of basing yours off of a FORMER NFL Scout that now works for the NFL Network, (the biggest joke in sports television).

You asked for links, you got links. Stop trying to downplay Bridgewater just because it doesn't fit your argument. Keep skewing.

What a joke. Lol.

theyre mostly mock draft links, or writers with no scouting backgrounds, which is as much of a joke as you think nfl network is, based on player evals. not downplaying teddy at all, downplaying his hype as the next andrew luck in this board.

I'd forget about Daniel "Clowney's BFF" Jeremiah.

As I pointed out on page 2, he stated he has yet to watch bridgewater this season and his entire rating of Bridgewater is based on last season alone.

Yet when people show you stuff, you deny it?

It's ok. You can take whatever QB you like in this draft outside of Teddy and I will take Teddy

I don't understand Heero's obsession with talking about Bridgewater.  He's never even seen the guy play.

There's a difference between watching a game vs. just clips.  Big difference.

“[Bridgewater] is smart, he’s a character guy, he’s poised, he’s got good size, he can make all the throws and he can do it on the run, too,” an NFC general manager told The Post on Monday. “Any team in the top five would take a very long look at him, even if they’ve got a franchise [quarterback] already.”

No you didn't. You couldn't figure out that an anonymous quote doesn't reveal anyone's hand nine months before the draft. David Caldwell won't be publicly saying he'll draft Teddy Bridgewater or anyone else until the pick is in.

“Bridgewater’s the best of the whole group,” said NFL Network draft analyst Gil Brandt, who was referring to the entire draft and not just the upcoming quarterback class.

i dont understand how that makes me hate him? it suggests hes the best qb in the class, which i agree.
